could you imagine the outrage if a jedi was given agreater than level 80 and no one else could achieve that outside of jedi ???
No one it allowed to be any better than anyone else in this game...its very socialist

i fully expect not to see this, i am expecting to be totally let down and expecting to see basic miners in the DWB with higher combat levels than jedi masters.
Well, the miners in the Dantooine Outpost may have a lower CL than a Jedi, but with SoE's single-minded mission to nerf the jedi, expect to have difficulty with load kills by them in the near future. In fact, a fully buffed Jedi Master may still have trouble with the miners. One word of advice: RUN! from kreetles.
I think he was referring to the miners in the Death Watch Bunker. Those guys are hardcore, like the rats.

Here's my though - not sure if it's good or bad, but just throwing it out for "brainstorming"...
I would think that as a jedi increases his knowledge and experience... i.e. becomes a Knight, Guardian, or Master... his knowledge of and connection to the force increases. As it stands now,a full template paddy can obtain about 1/2 of the possible Jedi skills... 2 masteries + 2 tier 4 boxes. Wouldn't it make sense, that as you get "promoted", you are granted additional skill points to use in the Jedi disciplines? Perhaps a Knight could get 3 full masteries, a Guardian... 3 3/4, and a Master could have full knowledge of the force, and able to hold every Jedi skill there is.
While this would not increase the CLVL above 80, a Master, for example, would have better force regen, a HUGE force pool, great defenses, amazing damage output, etc. A Master would really have no weak points. This is not to say they are unbeatable... just that they would be VERY hard to take down.
Thinking back to the pre-cu days... some of the best times I had were when someone would drag a DJM into the Mining Outpost, and the whole crowd would open up on him.... usually taking at least 5 minutes to bring him down.During that time.. the DJM would usually have sent a dozen or more people to the cloner. THAT was fun.. and I was one that usually took a cloner trip.
If new skills were made available to Jedi progressing through the ranks... you might have some fights like that. Even if you're NOT the Jedi Master... it's still fun. Obviously, you dont want 100 masters running around on the server... only a couple, at most.. same goes for guardians. I would sort of envision that equal battles would be something like:
1 Jedi Master = 3 Jedi Guardians = 5 Jedi Knights = 6/7 Jedi Padawans = 7/8 BH's/Other combat profs
I haven't done all the calculations on the skills, so those numbers could be way off, but you get the idea...
I'm sure there are alot of people that would not want to see additional skills granted as you progressed throught the FRS, but this is just my thought of what would be fun, and as always... is totally up to further analysis and debate.

I think It would be cool to have higher cl as you progress in frs and be cool to give the force sensitive skillpoints back 24 would help

these are all good ideas but, I wonder what the devs ACTUALLY have in store for us? hehe

Hmmm... maybe the silver/gold chevrons like on the elite mobs? Nothing that really benefits us, just the chevrons.

Chevrons rule. I wonder if bacciaca has heard anything about it. Let's see if I can get him to give me a yes or no. No information. Just a yes or no if he has heard anything about it. stay tuned for that post

Personally I really like your idea. Unfortunatly it seems to logical, and hence the devs would never go for it...

Would help and make our PvE damage better, but would make no difference in PvP, unless they raise the Health cap as well with it.
Full Temp Padawan = 80
Jedi Knight (rank 0) = 82
Add +1 for each rank or +2 at each rank tier
Not a bad idea as it does not imbalance PvP and it gives us a little benefit in PvE to catch us up with some of the rifles damage on normal PvE
I like this idea. Seems the most correct way of defining FRS ranks in the new system.

Never gonna happen imo.
We get enough bitching already for nothing - imagine what would it be if actually GET something.

Like I said, I wonder what the devs actually ahve in store for us. They must have some ingenious idea that will have us all scratching our collective heads for weeks.
