IM really glad they gave us a corn candy colored crystal and a 2 point force regen 50 hp cloak! I mean really they could have given us a lightsaber that had 1200 damage on it now that would have been terrible

In the state of emergency concerning the plummet ofsubscribers to the game, the subscription for Starwars Galaxies has been increased from $14.95 a monthto $19.95 a monthto make up for lost accounts.The regular subscription price of $14.95 will resume at the end of this crisis.

Its about nerfs to the Jedi and not granting them anything that will make them almost balanced. Get with the program.

Doh my bad! I totaly forgot what SOE's agenda really was there for a moment they are making Jedi the rangers of EQ haha

doesn't matter. they may as well make the cloaks a hot pin thong w/ +12 force regen, because they're just the same as other cloaks. lame. We want new Knight robes etc anyway.

Ok let's clear a few things up:


1) As of right now the Ithorians and Wookies can not wear of any these Cloaks


2) There are only 4 new cloaks, not 5. the 5th one that was rumored ended up being the change to the Padawan Robe when they added the buff icon.


3) These cloaks are far superior to the Padawan robes for the flexibility they give you. You can have 7 other items of clothing on with the other 2 cloaks, you can ahve 6 items with this cloak, and you can only have 3 items in conjunction with the Padawan Robe. Meaning the following is possible with each item:


Padawan Robe -+13 Force Regen / +0 Health / +250 Force /9 sockets left


Hood Down Cloaks - +15 Force Regen / +15 health / +250 Force / 21 sockets left


Hood Up JM Cloak - +18 Force Regen / +50 Health / +unknown Force** / 18 sockets left


Those are the 3 we know about, out of the 4 total that were added to ToOW.



Force Regen amount is determined by adding +1 for each piece of slothing you can wear with item. Sockets left is the number after assumed Force Regen mods are added


**dont know amount because no one has worn it, but garaunteed to be minimum of 250

All true! but the cloaks we've seen come in specific colors... What if i want a red/white/black/etc cloak??

The cloak looted from the Storm Lord is black.



Personally I would have preferred a schematic loot, that could not be put in factory, that had a limited color palette, and could be customized to fit all species.


Even then though the colors would just be white, black, and shades of brown to keep it in line with appropriate colors for Jedi.
