Yea, hes not paying monthly for it, as a lead team guy hes probably making 90,000 a year so W-T-F does he care! like he said, were just a silly game with silly publishes.what a tool.
If you don't like paying monthly for this game, by all means cancel and come back if/when it's working as you would like - if you PM me your major gripes with the game I will personally contact you as soon as they're solved and you can return.But insulting the developers is NOT going to solve anything, they're offering positive communication as to why things have been a bit bad lately and all you can do is start flailing your arms and jumping down the blokes throat, get a grip.
Oh, you sheep.

Over the years. They've said exactly the same thing.
- First it was Player Cities. Hi guys, now that we've dumped Player Cities to live we hope to redirect our resources to concentrate on killing bugs, profession fixes, and better communication between the player base and the staff. For now, here's Thunderfart.
- Vehicles. Hi guys, now that we've dumpedvehicles to live we hope to redirect our resources to concentrate on killing bugs, profession fixes, and better communication between the player base and the staff.
- JTL. Whew, Hi guys, now that we've dumpedJTL to live we hope to redirect our resources to concentrate on killing bugs, profession fixes, and better communication between the player base and the staff.
- CU (which stretched for like a whole year). Hi guys, whew, what a year it's been, blah blah blah blah blahnow that we've dumped half-fixed CU to live we willbe focusing on fixing it up.We hope to redirect our resources to concentrate on killing bugs, profession fixes, and better communication between the player base and the staff soon.
- RoTW, Hi guys, now that we'vedumpedRoTW to live we hope to redirect our resources to concentrate on killing bugs, profession fixes, and better communication between the player base and the staff very soon.
- Same chit different day.
Unfortunatly you have a very good point there, i do remeber all those those events, but ... i can dream can't i? :-)
Seriously bugs like merchants, armorsmiths, lootsellers and ch's went thru in the last few weeks ... maybe my memory is tainted and i've repressed some really bad memories .. but i can hardly remeber any worse patches in the game's history.
Bah, just let me dream :-)
I think they have the Republican spinmiesters helping them out, because for the longest time, the phrase that comes to mind is........
READ MY LIPS!

Hey guys, after our little fun trip on the 500 post thread that got deleted (admitedly as it deserved to be :-) it might also be good to remeber some good recent news. This snipplet comes a post from JFreeman in the CH forums:
JFreeman: I understand. Really I apologize for the lack of communication recently (or...maybe a little longer than "recently"). We've gone through a bit of a team restructuring phase post-CU and post-RotW, assigning different programmers, artists and designers to different sub-teams as the RotW team and CU team came back into the general mix. Some of us are even still moving offices (and almost everyone moved from one office to another, if that gives you any idea of the scope of this). I'm the new Live Lead Systems Designer, for example. It's taken me a couple weeks just to figure out what's going on (prior to this I was on RotW, and prior to that on JtL, so I haven't been "in the loop" much with regard to the live game or combat upgrade). We also have a new live producer and a new creative director (who still needs to pack up everything he owns and move to Austin!). Communication will improve, and so will the quality level of our publishes. Thanks for hanging in there through this one! May there never be another like it...
Strengthening of the Live team (no longer focused on CU/RoTW), new producers and creative directors and the intend to make future publishes higher quality sounds .. well it gives some hope doesn't it?
I hope soon we can all look back at this time and laugh at "those silly months with those silly broken publishes" (smiling)
*Translation and some thoughts*
JFreeman: I understand. Really I apologize for the lack of communication recently
-> recently? Basically since day 1 i think ?
(or...maybe a little longer than "recently").
-> he admits it !!
We've gone through a bit of a team restructuring phase post-CU and post-RotW,
-> that means a lot of people got fired because of this disaster
assigning different programmers, artists and designers to different sub-teams
-> they are not used to these sub-teams ... what will this mean for us ?
as the RotW team and CU team came back into the general mix. Some of us are even still moving offices
-> CU was april, 26th or so and RoTW was May, 5th ... you are STILL moving offices ? For nearly 2 month? Any ETA when you will finish moving?
(and almost everyone moved from one office to another, if that gives you any idea of the scope of this).
-> it gives me an idea of the mess it will produce ...
I'm the new Live Lead Systems Designer, for example.
-> Ah. Nice to meet you, I assume that you have a lot of experience when you got promoted to be a LEAD DESIGNER ?
It's taken me a couple weeks just to figure out what's going on
-> omg
(prior to this I was on RotW, and prior to that on JtL,
-> not sure if this is good news
so I haven't been "in the loop" much with regard to the live game or combat upgrade).
-> Does this mean you basically have no idea what the heck is going on and what the players wish or hope to come to swg?
We also have a new live producer
-> He needed 'a couple weeks to figure out just what's going on', too ?
and a new creative director (who still needs to pack up everything he owns and move to Austin!).
-> if moving between offices takes you nearly 2 month ... any volunteers from the gamers who might be able to give him a hand? We don't want him to be stuck in the next blizzard, do we?
Communication will improve,
-> Seems to be a rethorical phrase, thats what people post in regular intervalls since the beginning ... and results have yet to be discovered...
and so will the quality level of our publishes.
-> Thats an interesting line. Does this mean you admit the quality level of publishes being poor ?? Or is it another rethorical phrase ?
Thanks for hanging in there through this one!
-> ... through all of it ...
May there never be another like it...
-> I'm pretty sure most of the players include this line in their prayer before going to bed ... and some in every prayer they do
we can all hope... but albeit, next excuse... "my dog ate it"

so they think pushing the CU live while revamping and moving around in their building(s)and assigning people new jobs which it takes them weeks to grasp is a good idea ?
As Prime Minister of Canada Pierre Elliot Trudeau said regarding Canada's clearly flawed Charter of Rights which he got enacted,
"Yes it's flawed, but better a flawed document than no document."
Yes the CU sure as sithspit ain't perfect, but would you REALLY have rather they waited until it was perfect while players were giving up on waiting and quitting? We'd be lucky if we saw it by New Years 2006 at that rate. And many people STILL would have hated the changes. There's a significant proportion of players out there who complain about anything. Not always the same people, and not always the same issue, but the volume of complaints seems pretty constant regardless of the state of the game at the time.
