Thread: Jedi were special in the Movies, are they in SWG?

In my opinion Yes, Jedi were "special" in the movies, books, ect.. and they where at one point in this game. Now due to the population of the Jedi, which I dont mind a bit. Hell more Jedi more ForceRank, but theres the Jedi who dont play there Jedi like I think It should be.
Im talking about those who run around in hawtpants and those who wear the ridiculous outfits that you would not see a Jedi wear. Yeah Its there choice and Im fine with that, but hey its my opinion. I enjoy roleplaying and I think people should look up the a Light Jedi if there a citizen of a member of the Rebellion. Looking for support towards the Light Jedi's.
Looking down upon the Dark Jedi if ur a citizen or a member of the Rebellion. A Dark Jedi is ruthless and does not want to help the people. They are out for one thing and that Is too kill what they can.
Jedi were something special when they first came out when the population was 10%. You see alot of new Jedi making fools of themselfs and making the rest of us look bad.

The grind is most definitely special. Beyond that, no, not really. they are only as special as any other profession is, with each profession having unique weapons and the like.
The only thing really special about jedi though is what you have to go through to obtain it.

I read this lame statement all the time here. So you can't Roleplay a Doctor, a Combat Medic, a Ranger, a Squad Leader ??? SO YOU CAN ONLY ROLEPLAY A JEDI ?

well the only thing that jedi can do that others cannot is get visibility on mbh terminals.. until they change smuggler(or rather if)
other than that the only thing otherwise that makes us jedi different is that we turn on each other instead of trying to help our fellow jedi outon the forum boards.. just my two credits...(puts on flame retardant cloak)

Exactly. One of my buds worked overtime making minimum wage at Burger King to save up for an Ebay jedi account auction. Is that how you got yours?

By all means you can roleplay any other professions, but this is the JEDI forum. I am discussing JEDI not Doctors, ect..

What about Qui Gon and that dirty blanket (dirty ragged poncho whatever) with a hole in it he wore on Tatooine? I go dressed as a tuskan, and sometimes I take off my tuskan robe and roam in my hotpants I found in a chest in some cave. By the way, where did Qui Gon find that dirty blanket? He gets on the ship with robes on and gets off wearing something that would not even be found in the ships waste system. And its the Queens ship which would not have anything like that on it.

If you weren't totally retarded, You would know that I have not unlocked yet, and have never hidden that fact. I am in fact 1 week and a couple of days away from my exit quest at this time.
And if you weren't totally moronic, you would also see that I have been around since at least Launch Day, according to myregister date... Which isn't accurate because I was involved in the beta as well and was in fact, around since April of 2003, which is also in my signature.
So do me a favor and Blow it out of your $ss before you start making accusations as to how I got my Char, and how long I have been around.

If you weren't totally retarded, You would know that I have not unlocked yet, and have never hidden that fact. I am in fact 1 week and a couple of days away from my exit quest at this time.
And if you weren't totally moronic, you would also see that I have been around since at least Launch Day, according to myregister date... Which isn't accurate because I was involved in the beta as well and was in fact, around since April of 2003, which is also in my signature.
So do me a favor and Blow it out of your $ss before you start making accusations as to how I got my Char, and how long I have been around.

special yea we get to run faster than normal chars and we get a 7sec heal timer and not a 2 or 3 sec wooot and our moves liek forcearmor look kool the first 2 or 3 times

Maybe I do. I do get tired of everyone throwing around the Jebay, PRE-CU, POST-CU arguments, because they're just not productive anymore. And to see someone with a registration date that implies they have been around as long as I have going off about Jebay, just pisses me off to no end and honestly makes me wonder if they aren't deflecting because they ARE Jebay.
