I dont support your theory of Jedi having an unfair advantage in GCW.
Jedi are stronger in 1-vs-1 scenarios because the average Jedi has access to more skills than the average non-Jedi - Jedi have Root, Armor Break, Power Hit, Snares, Force Run, Center of Being all in one template. A Jedi is strong due to diversity and ability to adapt to different opponents pretty quick.
The key observation to make here, however, is that most Jedi skills can also be found in regular professions, maybe under another name, and those non-Jedi skills are mostly on-par or better than the Jedi skills.
Jedi vs non-Jedi is a 1.5 vs 1 duel, but this does not mean that a group of 8 Jedi against a group of 8 non-Jedi will be a 12 vs 8 fight. If the group of regular players is made up of different, complementing professions, it will outperform the group of Jedi any time.
Just ask yourself as Jedi one question: Would you rather group with 3 Jedi who will also bring a root and an armor break into the fight just like yourself, netting 4 roots and 4 armor breaks, or would you rather group with a rifleman who takes out the guys you root and armor break with high-damage attacks, a carbineer who can slow down whole groups from advancing towards your position and a MDoc / MCM who can keep your whole group alive pretty easily?

Second, If FRS is released before some kind of saber/pearl revamp...wow is all i can say (maybe using revamp is too strong a word)
Will be interesting to see what actually happens, till then, keep on keeping on.

I maybe mistaken here but I think revamp is synonomous with nerf, examples would be jedi revamp, combat upgrade formerly known as the combatrevamp.

... because of a bugged loot system. No bug (aka bugfix) => no advantage. Why do you think FRS should be unbalanced with disadvantage for new Jedi? Nobody had the choice to make under which system to grind, and both systems had their "exploits".
