I find I can channel during the lair and not have to wait at all
And your taking a risk that a BH can pop up and pwn u when you only have 900 health...

It's not like it's any better when you have 25% force or soand one comes around for you. I'd rather take my risk channeling and have full force than wait for it to regen slowly and have full health. Your health goes back to normal pretty fast anyway, faster than regening your force.
i have seen jedi only groups...some people are so paranoid about bh's that they don't trust anyone else unless their a jedi..
Ceasar
Jedi Knight
Sunrunner
I've never been in or seen a group that denies non-Jedi. I've never been in a group that has started a lair and not waited for the Jedi to regen. 'Course, it's the Jedi that are the tanks in the groups I get into, so it would be counterproductive to start without them. Often, the groups I get into slowly morph into Jedi-heavy groups, as group members leave the existing Jedi invitefriends who've been waiting for a spot.

ONe thing I hate more though is when people join a group and spend one lair fighting and then quit. Or they quit on the way to the first lair. I've seen so many people quit in a couple of minutes (and not just one person) that I often wonder why they even bothered getting into the group. In this situation, your just wasting my time because now I have to travel all the way back to MO or wherever and recruit again.
I don't really have too much ofa problem with people having toleave early/unexpectedly, there are so many factors that could cause it. Could be RL, could be they just got a tell from their regular grind group that a spot opened up, something in guildchat, whatever. It'sprettyrude if they just leave without an explanation though. The ones I can't stand are the people that just get into the group, and then run offto convert FS xpright away, or in one case the guy went to Corellia (we were on Dant) to go shopping!!
I am FS working toward Jedi, TKM/Swords class 80. I've noticed that if I have my hammer equipped, I don't get as many invites from the spin groups. They know Swords has no AoE attacks. I've had to explain a couple of times that I wrote a macro that cycles and attacks targets every 2 seconds. The only time my macro has caused me a problem is when the Jedi has taken damage and I go to heal him/her. Its difficult to target them and hit that heal button before the target changes.
That is my peeve. People not healing the spinner because it takes away from their combat experience. If you're lucky enough to be in a spinner group, do everything you can to keep them healed so they don't have to waste their force on that.

I know one of the things that make me insanely angry, are when a jedi starts a spin group, and will not invite a non jedi too their group. These types of jedi wonder why we are the most hated profession, this is one of the reasons. Im just trying to say if you start a group, invite every type of profession, not just your own. Its okay to be proud of being a jedi but when you completely ignore some who wants to grind equally as much as any one else because they dont have a lightsaber, its pretty stupid. /cry how am i going to get my alt full temp so i can resume the jedi grind, lol(so far the best thing ive found to counter this is too dress like my jedi, you know cloak and stuff, lol, seems to work a bit)
Yeah, they're the most hated. Most heard comment in grind groups at MO: "Get a Jedi in the group." Sounds real hated to me. Sounds more like you got mad about something and then decided to state that everyone hated all Jedi because of something you got annoyed about. I've never had any problem getting a character in a grind group at any level on any server.
Dude, a lot of people do hate jedi, they think that we are the ones that ruin the game, and make it unfair to everyone else. And the reason you will see, get a jedi in the group is because of a master defender being able to tank for the group, not because everyone just loves them.
I hope you are seriously joking. Unless we have all forgot the Dev philosophy of balance and have totallylost perspective of the gamestart to finish it is impossible for jedi to ruin the game. I will not even go into the countless examples of the Dev' Doc'swho have nutered theJedi proffession. And once again i will say that being aJedi means you are suppose to be stronger and better then the non-jedi professions. I would add smarter to that statement but thati dont think applies anymore.
but I have no problems with making groups that consists of a jedi core and the rest melee and maybe healers. as they tend to work out the best.
but the 8 jedi group is probably the best way to go as no one aggro's when ppl have downtime, the jedi help each other, u can almost always get taught so no ppl leaving to go and train (except maybe for the poor powers ppl) so I must say, dont hate Jedi only groups as they are good in one way, but i agree with that if u cant fill a spot with a Jedi, make sure to let someone else in, an empty spot is nothing groups want.
1st they might be a bh, who will wait till me health is down.
2nd the non-jedi often forget about the fact that they will give us visibilty when they leave the group in the middle of a fight.
3rd they often use more powerfull attacks and start crying when the monsters attack them instad of the master defender. i am tiered of explaining the aggro rules and chasing them when they run away with the mobs on their heels, to the best into a bunch of npcs.
