Im unsure how this rangerbuff will affects the jedi...
Since BHs alpha strike is the suprise attack, which initially means that the jedi is "unprepared", The BH could have both a Doctor buff and a ranger buff. Since the buffs usually not last for more then 40 minutes or so, a jedi cant get a buff all the time to be on foot with a BH when he hit around. While the BH would be comfortably buffed by the best from both worlds. Doc and Ranger...
When you know that the BHs have got quite some good weapons, Good slices on weapons and armour. While jedi have got no access to more premium/flawless pearls and generally got nerfed lately...I certainly hope the Devs are keeping an eye on it.

Maybe it's just me but the wording here is a bit suspicious. The use of a term like interim kinda implies a temporary state. Like we will be able to keep them for the time being but when their "solution" to premiums comes about anyone with them will lose them. I hope that's not the case.
This wording should come as no surprise to anyone. The statement in the Dev Chat is a word-for-word copy of Tiggs statement made in the stickied "Update on Pearl Drops" thread. Her earlier and identical (aside from punctuation) statement is here

Is it me or did they just copy and paste that Pearl question rofl.
After reading the chat, new robes is the only thing I saw that is good for Jedi. Two things did confuse me though:
[17:47] *Anon4881* Many Bounty Hunters expressed concern with Revenge of the Wookiees, as Jedi targets could not be tracked via conventional means whilst on Kashyyk. Will Bounty Hunters be able to track Jedi marks on Mustafar using their seeker droids?

First this, funny how the Devs worded it "TO Mustafar". The question was asking could they be tracked on Mustafar. The answer implies it will be just like ROTW, you can track a Jedi to Kash but not track a Jedi on Kash. Further explanation is needed.

[17:55] Squad Leader group buffs follow the standard PvP rules for buffing. This means that new buffs cannot be applied to a Jedi or BH that are already engaged in combat, existing buffs however will remain. As always we will be watching closely the balance implications of this and adjust if needed.
How confusing, existing buffs will remain except won't this unbalance Jedi/BH combat unless Jedi have a SL(s) in their pocket? Not only can you stack SL buffs, buta BH can get SL friends to help him get buffed up before he engages his bounty. Yes, Jedi can do this to....again ashame they don't have SL(s) in their pocket 24/7 where a BH only needs a SL when they decide they'll go hunting that day. I predict if the SL buffs are as good as they look on paper, combat against BH's with these buffs could be unbalanced. But what do you expect, they could care less about Jedi.

Thats the thing im worried about.
If the buffs (docs and Rangers) had lasted for longer then 40 minutes, jedi could always find a way to get these too without running to a ranger and doc every bloody hour getting one! While the BHs can comfortably get both and then jump on us while we are unprepared.

Sometimes these dev chats seem pointless. What's the point of answering a question when the answer is "yes, but we can't talk about that yet." And not so much as a whisper about the melee def vs Range def debate. This could have been a perfect opportunity to say, "We know there is a problem and our programmers are trying to determine the cause. Please be patient, we hope to have an answer soon." if nothing else, just acknowledge the situation.
