As you know, Jedi is a starter profession now. The idea has been kicked around since before you and I were Jedi. I had a great run with my Jedi and I got my money's worth.
I am stoked for all the new people who will get to experience the cool RP of being of a Jedi.
I could be bitter at all the people who whined about the Holo system, which changed the pre-patch 9 system, and got my Jedi nerfed, but where do you draw the line?
If you worry about elevating yourself, while keeping someone else down, you will always be bitter at this game.

I don't care that people are going to have Jedi as a starting professions. It's that people that are going to respec get an Elder Jedi reward of Blue Glowy. Thats just wrong. Point is they arnt a Jedi Elder so why should they get it. I just hope that it was false info that I was hearing.

New Veteran Player Loyalty Rewards
We are offering current active characters several loyalty bonus items in recognition of their status in the game community as valued veterans:
- Elder Buff - Increases to combat abilities, this buff can be shared with new players.
- Elder Title - In recognition of your status in the game as a valued veteran player.
- Profession Re-Allocation Option - All characters active prior to the introduction of the new game enhancements will receive a total of 9 re-allocation options or charges attached to their character to allow the player to test out each of the new professions once before choosing the final path.
- Jedi Bonus Items - Power-enhanced Jedi Robe and Lightsaber color crystal and the opportunity to play as transcended blue glowing Jedi character.

unless i'm misreading this i think it means only players already jedi going into NGE..so not lvl 80, but padawan

Okay, 1st tiggs has stated that any existing jedi going into the NDE, regardless of level will get the Elder rewards (blue glowy etc.)
Any jedi after the NDE does not...respec or otherwise.
Also, CL 80 jedi or will only respec to lvl 80 jedi in the NDE...you still have to grind up to CL90. You will only be able to use a 3rd gen saber after the NDE until CL86
so make them now while you can. GL
I guess people will never understand what the Devs post about huh?
1) Jedi with unlocks who have unlocked their alt character or have 2 characters on the same account on the same server which is what you unlock once you get Jedi Padawan in the current system or the Combat Upgrade system and not the NGE system which is before the 15th, this means that when the NGE comes out on or after the 15th of the month of november, you will be an Elder Jedi with all th extras that other players wont get, you will also have the ability to play as a blue glowie with your character, now...how that will be played has not beeen mentioned....so....if you NOT a Jedi and you have NOT unlocked now or when the NGE comes around you wont be blue glowie!!!!!!!!!!!

Which was what I just said, I can't understand how thepeople in this threadare misreading what Tiggs said.
