Thread: Could someone check these saber stats please ...?

Check '' Your Doom '' link on my sig. It's pre-CU saber. DPS is related to your speed, and Pre-CU sabers are very advategous vs. post-CU ones.


I crafted 20+ post-CU sabers with 12 points experiment and didn't even come close to my Pre-CU one. Your saber is good, just not pre-CU.

Your saber looks excellent. The base damage range beats the damage range on my saber by about 50. But my modified dps is 550, as I am MLS. And your FC looks pretty good, too.

Maybe there is something I have not understood, but I get the impression that I should be doing better damage, because I think I have a good sabre (it has 4 premium pearls in it). Maybe it is because I am only LS 0404 and not MLS ... ? Or maybe the 700+ damage is the max damage and not dps ?

Pearl 1: 116 dam, -6 FC

Pearl 2: 113 dam, -8 FC

Pearl 3: 114 dam, -9 FC

Pearl 4: 117 dam, -9FC

Crystal = Sunrider's Destiny


With the abovepearls loaded, the saber has the following stats:


FC 14

Dam 608-706

Elemental dam 211

Base dps 364

Modified dps 560

SAC 100


Why is the dps "only" 560? Or is that what it should be, and I need to go for MLS ?

PS: Before loading the pearls, the sabre stats were FC 48, dam 148-246, elemental 61, base dps 75, mod dps 115





What is the spd on your pearls... My saber is a bit higher in dmg and dps, where my pearls are lacking is spd. All of them are 117+dmg and -9 FC, but a couple have a spd of -.20 or so.

I've known alot of Jedi that have gone for quite some time tuning hundreds of pearls and still don't have one that good.

Hazey-M has been flaming all my posts today, accusing me of being a noob and so on and so forth. So please don't pay any attention to him.


To the rest of you, I can quite happily state that I am no ebay jedi. Those who know me in-game - 'Deepfry' on Infinity - can prove that to you.


As I state in my very first post, I was pretty sure it was a good sabre. I admitted this from the outset. But I was confused about the stats. When people spoke about 700+ damage I thought they meant dps. So I wanted to check on this forum.


And thanks to those of you who were kind enough to post sensible and helpful replies, I now understand the stats.


So thank you for that help.

Remember, modded speed is bugged. So ignore it.



BTW. That is a GREAT saber. (If that is Post-CU)



Think of it this way: A Good Post-CU saber has: FC25 or under, SAC100 or under, max damage least 600. (With crystals/pearls)



Right now, my saber is at FC23 sac 100, max damage 478......... So i do have a good saber, just all the crystals and pearls tuned to crap.
