One of biggest tips is to map some actions to your number pad (or some other keys). . . I put kd recovery on the Enter key, forceheal on the Zero key, and filled up the others with actions such as force shield, deathblow, loot, drain, channel, vitalize (one of the bext innate abilities). this save room on the toolbar for foods and combat actions.

thanks for the tips.

couple more questions:

1.I have read somwhere that putting the /kdrecovery command before any repeating macro sequence kinda makes it stick better (clears the queue?) anyone uses this?

2. I saw somwhere a guy use /clear in his macro list. anyone know what does /clear do ?

oh and last - havent seen anyone posting combat macros... any usefull ?

ty

the /clear should stop any qued autoattack (where you have the ctrl click) that is set so it doesn't override your lets say heal macro.

There is a good reason to limit your macro use. And not because some people like to pretend that they are toughguys for not using them. I couldn't care less about that attitude.

But the good reason to not rely on them too much is their tendency to misfire. For instance, you hit an attack just before or at same time and interupts the macro. Or the macro prevents you from hitting an attack becuase the macro is excuting an aura when you would be better served with a heal or an attack. In other words they can get in the way at the worst possible times.

The macros that instead alert you that it's going to be time to reapply are probably a better way to go since it gives you the option to prioritize when comes next.

Also the "/forceheal self" macro is a one shot deal and it's practically a requirment so that you always heal yourself. It's the only way around the heal-thru junk.
