if someone starts from scratch as a jedi now it will take them alot longer to finish their templates " skill trees" than it ever took all of us believe me it too 4 + hours to get lvl 10 lastnight on TC as a jedi running quests and killing **edit** its mearly impossible to just grind anymore becuase the xp gain is so low
but really we should just give them a chance the ones that im worried about are the respec jedi not the nubs that start as a jedi fresh
cause if they can finish their temps they will have my respect
knowing the devs they probably kept the reduced jedi xp..heh

I remember several post like this before the last revamp. You really think the revamp of the revamp will make it harder. Can anyone say 3 week respecer's. YaI see tough roads ahead
Glad i did my 8 month grind the easy way.

the problem with what you are saying the gain lower lvl boxes to get higher lvl ones cant work in this new system. the skills are set in cycles so you have to complete a whole cycle to advance to the next rank in jedi
but yea im sure someone will figure out how to exploit this system and ruin the experiance for everyone ![]()
lol

LOL some people make me laugh,we have people on this forum who cant handle the fact that at last we may and i repeat may have a system coming into place that will actually give everyone who plays the game not just the grinders and hardcore gamers a chance to compete on an even footing. As far as i am aware everyone pays the same amount per month wether they play 2 or 20hrs a day so why shouldnt they at least be able to compete. At the moment on my server Wanderhome there are too many jedi (most of which are good guys)and if u have ever been SF in coronet as a non jedi player it isnt much fun.The whole idea of a mmorpg is that there isnt One class that rules all other classes it should be a vibrant ,lively game that spreads the weight of battle on all its combat classes not just One (JEDI).So all though i do have sympathy for the work you put in(by the way i have been unlocked about 8 months now)the time has come for this ruling class to be eliminated so get used to it.
The cream always comes to the top so im sure if you are a good enough player then you will remain an elite SWG charachter and if you dont then welcome back toreality. We need a game that isnt dominated by Charachter Class power, but is dominated by player skill power.
you must have been the best damned person on your server, or hte biggest **edit**ing exploiter. or maybe just the heaviest sack of **edit**.. one or the other, take a tick tac because your breath is stank. Jedi hasn't been a "ruling" class since pre-cu, period, and i don't give a damn how you'd ilke to try and cut it. all the other professions we had to fight (BH+ whatever), had their equal footing, hell in the end they were better then most of us.
Fixed

I will not treat new jedi with any respect...the jedi they have is not a reward, it was handed to them. I don't think I will check these forums anymore truthfully (unless they make a pre-cu2 jedi forum) since it will be filled with these newbie "cornflake jedi". I know I may sound like a jerk, but I cannot agree with the complete baznitch-ization of the jedi profession (as I holoed 2 unlocks, and grinded the rest I feel betrayed by SOE). Im not saying I will quit playing, going to give it a try...can't get back on tc tho...Anyone feel like me?!? lol

You don't have to respect them, respect is earned not given. Hell you don't even have to like them, but give'em a chance. they deserve that much at least, just remember we came before them, so we get to pass down the knowledge of the past, and we'll have experience they'll never understand.
I agree toa point however..
..its all good. all we truly have are our pvp skills. that will separate the men from the boys if it actually came to that point. no need to demand respect. Knowing you have to duel/attack weaker players in pvp is enough satisfaction for me. So you dont have to respect elder jedi, just dont fight em. That in and of itself works just fine. Its essentially the unspoken respect you will have whether they give it to you or not.
im pretty sure that your pvp skills now wont matter worth **edit** in the new system yet everytime i have tried to duel somone in the new system noone has wanted to....so i dont really know how it works
