You NEED a good saber, but it's potentially (and this is just my opinion) the best JvJ templates around. It's very good 1vs1 against non-jedi, too.

In PvE, you'll find yourself being more of a support class. You just can't take damage.

I had this temp for about 3 months or so, then I respec'd to Master Powers/Master Enhancer/4040 Healer, and that fits my playstyle MUCH better, but its almost pure support and not many people like that, so I dunno what to suggest to you.

Do u rate this temp for pvp and pve?

im about to drop aura for resists, then get master.

Just interested in what ur experiences are of this temp

Thanks

I've had this template for a weeks now and really like it. With zap you can debuff MCM's and their mind will go down faster if they keep throwing DoTs.

You will take alot more damage with just Force Armor as defence but synthsteak, spices and def food help you out. With MLS and Force Speed 2 you will be hitting hard and fast and if things get to much there is stasis .
In duels I have beat 4040 defenders, 0040 defenders etc.

It's a very fun template to use and JvJ is often bettet than defender.

Thats the tempI run, I personaly really like it but if you do not keep some steak or protien wafers around your gonna get in trouble and its all about timeing with those. You can also replace the 0/0/4/0 healer line with Arua 1 its only 250 defense but since its not subject to diminishing returns ( or did not seem to be in tests) it works out better than you would think, it may not beas good as the 500pt version but it still makes a differance according to the testing i did, you get missed alot more and have the same inate armour as a Mdef with that temp. I am currently thinking of changing from the Sap line as it seems to have almost no effect on a buffed player. ( ya ya but when are they not buffed so don't even start)

Still, its great PVP provided a decent saber. Mine is right around the 670 region and i do fine. But PVE its very force intensive if still effective. Just be prepared for alot of down time and a inablity to sustain a fight without using a holo. And stay away from muliple opponinates as that will destroy your force bar faster than anything else in the game.

I have rolled with MLS,ME 4004 for over a year and half and I can do alot in game.

We are crowd control and support, not exactly super tank but you can tank for a few mins-- just gotta watch the force, your defense is not passive, its force based remember that.

I am said template and I can hold my own....its hard but I can. BH's are no problem for me, some are a tough fight but those are the fights I love. I have had this template since I started and I know how toplay it well.

I am MLS ME Heal 4xx4 and it is a good temp and allows you to do almost anything solo as long as you watch the number of targets. My saber is max 630 damage so it is not the best, but I get the job done.

The thing that makes it worth it for me is the fact that force armor is a 30 minute skill instead of a 45-50 second one like aura is. When I had 4x4x defender, I found my force going down almost as fast durning a battle as with force armor cause of having to restart it all the time. I will grant you that I do miss the +500 to defence.

Also the self rez skill has saved my butt more than once when I was out in the middle of nowhere and got carless.

You will definatly have to monitor for force, but that is not hard and a couple of well timed channels and you are ok.

Bini: Pre-NGE Light Jedi (MLS, ME, 4xx4 Healer) now a clvl 90 Jedi
Bindi: Pre-NGE Master Riflewoman\Master Bounty Hunter now a clvl 90 Smuggler
Binhi: Post NGE Officer (currently lvl 56)
The NGE brought two things to the game: empty cantinias and a flood of Jedi.

only do it if you have a good saber... like.. 690+ damage

otherwise it will be pretty useless for you ;/

i am MLS/ME/Def0020/healer3000

I PvP mainly...and have no problem 1v1 with other jedi (even MDs) unless i cant get a heal off properly...then i resort to FR3 around obstacles until I get the heals working agaain (my /forceHeal self; macro stops working at times)

It is true about needign a decent saber... i have ~700 max. If you plan on PvP with groups, you dont need that great of a saber

I like to still have aura....but i'm not sure if it is worth not haveing the extra 500pt heal...still deciding
