I just thought it was interesting that the same time that the starter kits came out for sale the web domain was purchased...

im not here to flame anyone. some threads and responses on this forum strike me as....lets say weird. and most of the time i am amazed about the conclusions people tent to jump to. i am someone who says what he thinks. so if my post was a bit too harsh i appologise.

you know, although i know this will get me flamed to hell, SOE isnt doing too bad of a job. i had the chance to compare this game to some other prominent MMOs out there and i have to say SWG is HUGE compared to most of them. of course the suits at SOE made some poor decisions. of course the game still needs a lot of work. but i guess thats what you get for creating a whole new game and calling it an upgrade.
anyhow i do think the DEVs deserve a little respect for trying at least. you cant make 33+ professions (not sure about the exact number)100% satisfied. do i think we should shut the hell up and let them do their thing? not by a long shot. but we do have to realise that we are not the only profession, and not even the most important one in the game.

Um no it isnt.....its been registered with Register.com for at least that long.......And there is only One Web domain with that spelling? are you sure you spelled it the same?

Buying .com and then selling to bigger companys is an old trade.
You can make some nice money from it.

Even WHOIS.net says its been registered with Register.com for that long....

No, you are wrong. Register.com may be the registering company, but it was registered by Karl Lyn and IS up for sale. I double checked the spelling after your post.

Ahh I see how we are both confused...Karl Lyn is an alias for the company.....look at the email address and phone number....
Still could have been just bought out by LucasArts or Indutrial Light&Magic recently and because of the contracts with SOE can publish it yet...
The reason I posted this in the first place is because a month ago this web domain was still for sale....Register.com still had the for sale posted up....
Not trying to start a rumor...just trying to figure out what was going on...and give the info to our comunity...
