well, just 1 thing - you can still use stims while you are KD'ed.

But yes I have to agree - make them use as much healing as possible, try to hit them as much as possible, for instance hit them with lower but faster specials. That way you will safe some force while still damage them so they will heal more often.

A very good tactic is too see when/if they are using stims. At that time try to get them down to half health - and then KD. That way they can't use a stim - well still can use a Ruby Biel - but you may get lucky and then land in a few specials with the powerattack.

Just my 2 cent, since I have a MBH/Master Pistoleer/Cm 4000 alt.

Is there a way to tell when an opponent is using a stim versus innate healing? Is there something in the combat log to watch for?

Best bh i have ever fought, and the only one to ever beat me. pistols = very low sac cost especially with a powerup, they can keep firing at you as long as it takes. WIth proper food management they can be exremely difficult to beat. BEWARE!

I have this exact temp scarily enough, and the main benefit to it is....double capped FWG5's!

I have one on Farstar (and euro servers always seem to have low stat items compared to US servers) which can be powered to well over 400/1100 dmg, has accuracy bonuses, fires almost once per second, and with 2/3 of the SAC of a saber....65!!

The non-jedi game relies on the cunning, experience and experimentation of the crafter professions to succeed, compared to jedi relying on their own base skills. It won't be long before guns with even those amazing stats are seen as commonplace and the bar is yet again raised

Also fellow Jedi should be aware of a new pistol that is available on the Avatar Station that has a minimum damage 400+ that is available to pistoleers and they dont even need good resouces and enhancements to make it. It is lootable.

Healing abilities is making the post-CU era a joke. . .

Not only can anyone now use the most powerful stim D's, but they can so it while KD!!

Of course i think that allowing this stemmed from so many people complaining about the ability of Jedi to heal while KD...

Yes these bounty hunters with that template has so far been the toughest to me, a good friend of mine has master pistoleer and rifleman 0003 along with master bounty hunter and he tanks almost any Jedi. Intimidate shot and warning shot are the most annoying attacks along with the combat medic heals. I still however have been able to defeat them all so far as I am still 100% record against bounty hunters.

I have no doubt that Yyrkoon could do just as well as I do, with my template (if he still played.) There are lots of other guys on our server who're very good and simply don't have equipment to match mine.Still, thanks for the compliment. You were a great fight -- and the duels afterward were fun also.

MBH / MPist / CM4000

It's not a new template... but it may be growing in popularity. It's really the best ranged tank in the game. And as far as I'm concerned the best all around combat template for ANY circumstance. Good target control with KD and root, high damage attacks, and some daze effects..... throw in duelistic stance and choice of energy or kinetic armor, and great heals for self and in group and you have the perfect all around template. PvP and PvE.

Why it's good against Jedi.

- recon armor

- roots/dazes/disarming shot

- KINETIC weapons

- very nice heals

- good melee defense

How to beat them.... Saber throw and lightning. They will rarely be out of the 32m range. Always do damage to them to wear down the mind.

And timing..... save that KD for when they have only 25% or less health. Or 10% or less action. (think about it)

Quite frankly, if healing went back to how it used tobe pre-CURB, that would probably balance everything.

And we wouldn't need healing with pre-curb regens thanks to buffs.
