It's interesting...I'm thinking about it and those abilities are in just about every game I've played that's SW related. All the Jedi Knight series, KOTOR, even the Lego SW game has it!

I'm just envisioning a BH getting the first series of shots off, Root/KD/Crit Shot/etc... and charging in to be in range for DB when the jedi gets up and yanks the weapon from their hand then shoves them back about 100m off a cliff.... LOL! Now you're talking about fighting a Jedi! Note, no mention here of being able to pick up the weapon or of doing damage with either power, but it would very much change up the tactics of a BH / Jedi fight.

I would PAY to see that happen.... but it actually would make it interesting for the BH's to fight a Jedi then, PLUS it would Turn the TABLES on them.... but then they would just scream NERF

Unfortunately you're probably right. But it would be so cool to see this kind of a fight.

It would be sweet to force push a BH into a lava stream, wouldn't it?

While we're on the subject, to bring up the movies (yes, I know that SWG is not following the storyline, but this is just an example of prescedent) - I would think that force Pull would be either a novice powers skill or at least a tier 1 powers skill. My reasoning on this is that it was one of the first abilities used by Luke in the films. ESB in the Wampa cave on Hoth. He pulls his saber out of the snow - and it takes him a bit to do it.

Based on that I'd think that "pull" would be a lower lvl skill. Again, sticking with the films as reference, the first time we see force Push really used is by Obi-Wan in Episode I against the Battle Droids. Then of course we see Qui-Gon and Maul use it later on.

At his levelObi-Wan was at least a full template padawan (since he was granted knight at the end of the movie). Again, not putting that in a box specifically but a more advanced skill.

Powers was supposed to get Force Push, and they even had it working. The problem was they couldn't find a way to implement it that was not open to abuse.

Very true. I remember this came up almost 2 years ago. I always thought it should be put in, but I can absolutely see how it would get abused.

You think it's lame when someone breaks stasis using a duel? Imagine if you have someone pushing the Jedi around while rooted by the same method. Or pushing a BH around by that method.

I have to say though, it would take a lot of the problems with Powers mobility away if we had the chance to create the room we need to use our skills.
