well I guess that's a step in the right direction.. The ETA on the otherhand could be this time next year.

If it was true, what you are about to post would do one of two things....the truth or not. If people didnt like your post and what you say soe isnt going to do about jedi, there would be mass cancelations tonight....If jedi like what you are going to post, this would be the most read and replied post in history...but, you really need to think about what you are going to do...If this is a hoax, you will probably be prosecuted by soe for every person who quit the game for industrial sabotage...If its the truth and the nda doesnt apply to you, you will be more popular than yoda...now, what are you going to do?

Well, yes. As it happens the message I got is good news for Jedi. It confirms that at least a Dev has been assigned to pearl drops, that he has been working on them and that it seems he will be finished soon. What gets me is that the SOE rep felt unable to share this tiny snippet of info with the community which has been baying for news for quite a while.

maybe they were in fear of the stuff not getting fixed or the progressmight just beflat out denied by the higher ups. then they'd be murdered for providing information to the jedi community that isn't going to happen lol

Pearl drops will not even help Jedi now, they're more than a dollar short, and months too late.

Seriously, who cares about pearls anymore now that BH templates are ultimate super classes of the game? Add to this the fact that Trials of Obi Wan has no Jedi loot that actually improves your character's combat ability worth anything and literally no Jedi specific content and you have a player base that just does not care.

Well, true, I did ask her specifically about pearl drops.

Oh, this is probably just another rumor anyway, unless you have a screenshot of the convo.

the one poster is right, pearls will not help us in the sad state we are in... the only thing in the game that is outrageous are bh abilities and the wide varietly of abilities they can possess, which seems to grow every patch while ours sinks every patch. the only thing that will balance this game out for jedi is not letting one uber combat proffesion like bh to have so many skill points used up in other non combat skills. that is the root of our whole problem. when fighting a bh now, post cu, we are fighting a master healer, a squad leader, and rifleman, and a bh all in one. and along with the dead droid exploit the situation is getting worse due to sloppy quality control from soe.
