hmm take a mission with mbh on your jedi and use jedi skills to kill them /ponder could be fun.

hm m.ls, 2-4-0-2 enhancer, 2-0-0-0 healer, 0-0-4-0 defender,0-4-0-0 powers (cloak),0-0-4-0 pikeman (intimidate and warcry), m.sl (high yield and called shot buff), 0-0-0-4 combat medic (2 minute snare, -40 combat speed debuff)

in total

- 80 combat speed,

1200 bacta toss + 1k bacta shot + 1500 force heal

Paralyze

intimidate

4k+ hits with the SL buff

200ish melee defence

Cloak

Or any jedi template + MBH + MSL + xxx4 CM i still think would be more fun id love to see peoples faces if i did that.

Sounds nice and all, but it would be extremely unbalanced as one would be able to build a template that allowed them to be totally self-sufficient needed no other player/professions at all. You could be jedi, a crafter and a normal combatant all in one toon. Where would you need outside help at all. This idea would make the game closer to a single player game only difference is that other people would be in your single player world unlike non-multiplayer games.

Now if jedi got a smaller amount of skill points, then that would be ok I think. Allowing a jedi to be full template jedi and one single master non-jedi profession would be enough in my book. I mean, luke was a jedi and a damn good pilot. He wasn't a great marksman, engineer or weaponsmith all at the same time. So that concept would be a bit too much, not to mention non-jedi would still only be able to have their double mastery while jedi would get multiple masteries. Also, this would increase the interest in being a jedi and if one could be both a jedi and non-jedi elite professions....then you aren't losing anything.

OVerall, this idea would take the devs having to do a full combat revamp again. I just don't see that happening any time soon. They are determined to make CU work even though it seems to be running out of gas.

I'm sorry but I really think that JEDI skill points should be seperate from the normal professions, I mean jedi's were general in the clone wars, you mean to tell me that obi wan never picked up a rifle???

and while i'm at it, didn't he wear clone armor too?

just 2 cents of mine

Flame away!!

not a bad idea.... but in SOE's eyes... this is not really star wars... this is just a game that kind of resembles star wars... a long, long time ago...

LOL

Sorry, but that is funny.....sad, but funny.

I think we were able to “tell” better stories, when we had player interdependency, and multiple, variable classes.

No. If jedi is so easy to obtain / common amongst the players, they wont make it so you extremely overpower anyone else.

That just wouldn't be fair to all those who don't need to be ub3r 1337 kiddies to survive
