Thread: How is force cloak being made useless? for real

Lots of things wrong with this post, have you seen a snared forcerunner? Probably not, snare will slow down any runner to almost walking speed, and 3000 Enhancer does not contain FR2 that is in 4000 Enhancer.
And to the other posters that advocate these changes, you must not understand how it feels to be a full fledged force wielder, against other Jedi you are practically weak offensively so I rely more on PvP against bounty hunters than finding other Jedi to fight these days. Adding a snare to cloak is going to be ridiculous that if I see 5 guys show up and try to gank me, I try and cloak in the middle of Theed then I will not be able to get far enough away to prevent my force from being completely drained due to the mass NPCs and players not to mention the players will be able to follow and AOE attack.
what you will no longer be able to do is pure speculation at this point. you have to play with the changes before you say how they effect you.

Kinda like how they added a Snare to Avoid Incap, which isa skill that was supposed to be used to run away also. SOE is funny like that though.

MLS/MP/4040 Healer here. I don't have Force Run.
If you don't know any Jedi without Force Run, you don't know enough Jedi.
and liek this guy, he has no force run, so what makes a difference if he is snared or not. If he can get out of BH trouble, alot of people can. He has no enhancer what so ever.. so he cant root nor snare. And if he can get out of trouble, alot can get out of trouble. But again he probably kills most of the bh he meets
I need more information to try and understand your point. Is your point that you don't need enhancer to use cloak effectively right now? I agree with that. I use it all the time to get out of trouble as a MLS/MP/4040 Healer.
But after the cloak nerf you just won't be able to do that. And if you can't figure that out, I have a bridge to sell ya'.

lol honestly, most that i know.. reb and imp like the master saber, 3-4-0-2 enhancer, 4-0-4-0 defender, with 4-0-0-0 healing template if they dont have cloak. True there are many jedi version out there. But the master powers i know carry atleast 1 line of saber -0-4-0-0 for armor break and power attack, and use atleast 3-4-x-x enhancer to speed up -all- of their attacks. and -atleast- 3-0-0-0 healing.

Maybe I am simply mad because I am forced to pvp with the worst weapon in game, with the most bugs and exploits that can be used against me, with the chance of losing xp, and they are nerfing my only runaway ability.

Imagine being snared every time you activate force aura....
Imagine having all your defensive buffs drop every time you talk to someone or flip a switch
Imagine having to re grind millions of xp to go defender like all the other FOM's so that you can solo things
And all this because you haveneat toy that you love playing with and others don't know how to share so they have to take yours and break it.
Seriously my four year old knows that when someone else has something nice you feel happy for them.
snare for aura/cob sounds good.. they are concentrating on defence.. and shouldnt move so fast
