Should force armor be able to be armor broken by a normal profession? I can understand it being debuffed by a Powers Jedi, but force armor shouldnt be broken by a swordsman.

Armor break as a skill should not even be in this game. It is by far the most overpowered special in the game.

It does, but the bonuses gained aren't worth the force cost.

If there was a "Daze" penalty for reapplying buffs then fair enough - but equating Breach with Armor Break is a bit silly imo. Breach has just as much chance to remove completely irrelevant buffs like Infusion, etc as it has removing the things you want to remove.

Not to mention it invariably costs a lot less to reapply them as it does to Breach in the first place.

In a large fight when peopel are lagging they will not notice very often when 1-2 of there buffs get breached seeing as how they will usually have 4 doc buffs and atleast 3-5 foods. They will usually die fast then call whomever is hitting them an exploiter because they someone bypassed the force armour(From my experiance :smileywink.

Its +60 + the +10 from paddy so it is equal to a master defenders innate armour total.

paddy box gives +20

novice defender +10

44xx defender is +24 (+34 inclusive of the novice Box)

master def is another +16 (so +50 inclusive of those below it and +70 inclusive of the paddy box)

FA1 is +20

FA2 is +40

sooo... fa2 + defender is the same innate protection as master def (but none of the ranged/melle defences)

btw since i'm on the subject from another thread.

Pro's and con's set aside, does anyone know if Force Armor works in conjuction with or in lieu of your inate armor, say from Mdef.

for the life of me i cant find an answer.

And what exactly IS 'melee defense"? or "ranged defense"?

is it a mitigator? is it a "dodge" or chance to avoid? both?

Just been bugging me lately... all i know is more is better... but have never really figured out exactly what it does.

many thanx
