try rancor aid if you can get your hands on it. I really got screwed today. Was trying to be nice a ch/bh came and i killed him and i was praticing some tatics with him, then a real bh comes and i didn't really wanna fight but i wanted to be nice and not run so i fought(that 2 minute snare kills). Then I died when i shoulda been in my house in the first place. I haven;t had any squad leadersafter me yet.

There was a post somewhere on how to make it. I know of a few that currently do exist.
My guess is thatit will be as common as Exo Protein Wafers in a week.

Just take a deep breather, the fun is over, Tiggs is in the house, lets resume discussing normal Jedi game content.
So, has anyone figured out any tips to defending against the Squad leader bounty hunters?
I don't understand - if we step away from the computer, what exactly would be be paying the $15 pm for?

Yep, best defense I have found is sitting in my private house laughing at them.

Rancor aid is a drink craftable by chefs. It is a very rare thing at the moment as most chefs are assembling the materials needed to make factory runs of it. Our guild chef put up several crates on his vendor within an hour or so of the publish (happened to have all the stuff to make it) and it was gone almost immediately.
Ifa chef wants to make a killing, this is the way to do it. Now, his stuff only lasts for a little over 1min 30 sec. Theoretically this should be enough time to get away, provided you can snare / root the BH (assuming he/she isn't also using Rancor aid).
This does however pose an issue for those who enjoyed fighting BH's and the PVP aspect of it. I think many of us now are moving toward defensive / escape based templates vs. fighting.
