Thread: EASIEST FIX FOR JEDI

- Take Jedi out of the GCW, have Sith vs. Jedi
Should have been like this from the time the first jedi ignited a saber..I agree 100% We should also not be visable by non Jedi. As we are said not to exsist, so why give non Jedi the reason to think/know otherwise? I say permanently place us on Yavin 4 and make use of our Jedi Enclaves. Allow BH's to still hunt us, and shall we lose we get a 3day revenge mission on the BH. It will allow us 3days to come off of Yavin, making the sighting of Jedi a very rare thing. And something I think many would appreciate.
- Take BHs vs Jedi out of the game. Sorry but if this was not here, every BH in the game would not be whining to nerf us because they cannot PvP.
In a way,I disagree. I still like the occasional BH visit...I've met alot of great BH's and alot could care less about dying or winning. Its the fun they have. But,I think Smuggler's should be another target for BH's. It would give the Hunters who rather not hunt Jedi an alternate option. Not every BH has the money for all the foods, armor, and great weapons...so a non Jedi would be more of a match for BH in that situation.
- If you cannot take away BH vs Jedi, give BHs serious skill loss if they are unsucessful to the tune of at least 1 investigation box each time.
That I completely disagree with. My alt is not a BH and be honest, do you enjoy Exp loss? No way in hell. So, I wouldnt wish skill loss on anyone. I would say something more like, reduced to NPC marks until they get 3 successful missions in a row, before they can hunt PC's.

I have an idea......why dont they just take BOTH jedi and BH out of the game altogether. Then maybe there wont be any other nerfs here for people to whine about and cancel their accounts over. /shrug.
If you cant handle changes to your prof.......then maybe it is time for you to play something different? Because SWG is an ever-changing MMO. We may pay to play.....but we also accept SOE's terms and agreement every day when we log in.....not ours. So all this whining is not going to get us anywhere. Did the 10,000+ canceled accounts after the CU hit make the devs change the game back? No. DId it kill the game? No. This is no different, sorry.
I'll agree with you there, hard to kill something that is pretty much already dead.
Thanks for the useful replies people, as for the others, obviously they are just looking to argue.
I have no problem with BHs having other profs, Impliment that and take the BH hate somewhere else.
I had no issue with fighting BHs, but I am sick of nerfs cause some noob BH cannot win so they cry.
Add smugglers, BHs, People caught slaying citizens (professors etc) and other ways so its not just BH vs Jedi ... that is at least a bit better.

I like these ideas except for the bh skills loss. I dont think anyone should have their skills taken away from them. How about if they loose they get put on the terms themselves for failure to make goodon a contract?
