I remember this guy! Sorta, he was mentioned in my Star Wars Guide to planets. (Yeah I'm a nerd, sue me ) In the entry for Ossus. Ossus was a training planet for Jedi, and had the Jedi's great library. Kun and Qel-Droma ignted the suns that Ossus orbited to kill off the Jedi there. Ood B'Nar turned himself into a a great tree whose roots protected that sealed off the vaults so that Exar Kun could never get them. Later, after Endor, Palptine's Clone sent his right hand man, Executor Sedriss,there. Ood B'nar as a tree sacrifced himself and destroyed Sedriss in the process.

Anyways...Yeah, defintely not approaite as a "dark side" crystal. Only thing close is he studied the sith and thier teaching, but at the same time refused to ever submit to them. Maul's Vengence (or was it blood) would of been a better pick since he was defeated by Kenobi.

This is making me seriously cranky.

I want my "special veteran" crystal to have any color... as long as it is RED.
