No. Your account name and password are used for the forums but you still need to create the Profile. So the registered date has no relationship to when you started playing SWG just when you created the Forum Profile.
I believe this is set up this way so that the forums don't have a Sithload of unused profiles. Imagine all the peole who don't visit the forum. Imagine all the people with multiple accounts, they don't need forum access for all their accounts. Boils down to why store the tons of account profiles if they are never going to get used.
My account was started the day of release, I remember standing in line to get a copy at 12:01 AM the morning it released I bought it. I didn't start my forum account till I started thinking about going for Jedi, which is about 600k FS expaway.... not sure if thats a good thing or not...
