The Only Problem I see with Saber TEF is Lets say your in Theed, your not there to show off your just there to maybe buy afew things and maybe get some ID work ect. all of a sudden a Bounty Hunter Shows up and starts Firing at you, your first Reaction would be "S**t I need to Defend Myself, Pull out your Lightsaber and Ignite it." all of a sudden you Look around and Think " Oh.....F**k. now Instead of Fighting against One BH, you Have to Fight every Dude there. you Die, you Lose Xp, you Hate your Life for the Next Couple of days. Though I must Agree Having a Saber TEF and Xp Loss would Keep The Jedi from Showing off. But remember everyone, this is a game. Ment to be Fun, This would Kinda Make it a Nightmare to be a Jedi.

Saber tef was cool, but in a grouping enviornment, do you know how much Jedi would accidently get killed?

OK, great point there. Although most people are not going to attack a jedi out of the blue like that, that could be an issue. And this will never happen, the devs never read this stuff, but maybe if they had it so if you get attacked by a bh, you cant' get sabre tef while you have his bh tef? I dunno, i like jedi honestly, even though im a bh myself, but id like to keep them somewhat unseen if possible. When obi-wan whips out his sabre in the first movie, everyone in the cantina stares for good reason, but in our swg, it'd be more of a 'who cares?' attitude.

problem is too, it is to easy to become jedi so you have peeps comin on and goin jedi then sellin the toon to 12 yr old kids who run around acting like morons. That is the problem i see too. Back in the day you had to master every profession to be jedi, i like that idea, then you actually know how to play when you become jedi. I agree everywhere you turn there is a jedi now. The village is packed. But oh well, i still like the fun of fightin off bouty hunters.

Jedi are not underpowerd, the players are ill prepared.

If I'm a Master Rifleman/Carbiner and I'm using CDEFs does that make the Rifleman and CArbineer professions underpowerd? no. Means the player needs to get or build better weapons.

It would be nice to walk through the starport without having to go through blaster duels too, we should give a ranged weapon TEF as well. After all, how many duels did we see when people were walking through towns in the movies?
