I have never and will never stand around a starport dueling, and I still get vis. I never pull out my saber in public, use force where anyone can see it, wear robes or anything of the sort. I still get vis. There are just some stupid people who will drive right up to your group and give you vis, or people who disband before they drive away and give you vis. If you want to participate in any content in this game you eventually have to kill NPC's, and that gives you vis. There is nothing you can do to completely avoid visability, except not play your jedi.
And before you say "you knew the risks", I also "knew", or at least was led to believe, that I would be able to fight back, not that I would be rooted from 60 meters away and never get any closer, and never even get a single shot in against a BH.

Or play with my alt, since you dont want me seeing walking around with a saber?
I for one agree, I don't want to play an alt. Played a regular character in SWG for 2.5 years. Hope this doom and jedi gloom isnt as bad as it seems.

I tested this in beta, and it really is that bad.
