Your reasoning seems weird to me, how can you be making yourself weaker by taking abilities such as channel force and healallself, or the saber exp points in the sabertech line as soon as they become available to you? Not to mention your overall exp gain increases as you invest points into more skills.
There can be good reasons to wait training. After you have 4/4 sabers and start working towards MLS, the only thing that training skills will do for you is giving you more force. At the same time you lose more and more of your regular skills (such as defenses) and your price on the terminals also increase. So it is a pretty good idea to go for the xp cap when working on the rest of the saber tree. The xp gain does NOT increase when training skills in the saber tree.

This was my thoughts. Currently I am Master Swords/TK 4004/ Medic 0240 and My jedi skills. The cost for getting a lvl one box is 8 SPs and so I was thinking of getting the 600k Jedi xp grabbing Channel and then storing up.. All the reasons sighted above were mine aswell. Once I am forced to drop master Swords I lose my Krayt killing power and my main Def. vs BHs (my 1K self crafted PH). I understandat some point I will have to go master TK and lose swords, the Def benifts and meditation tree from TK are just too good. Plus being a Mon Cal I have a 1025/1025/1950 HAM w/ powerboost. I am not a giant fan of TK, yes it's great and all, but I love swords. So this is an attempt to keep my combat abilities as long as I can.
Also I am really interested in going Master Powers, but I have read many discouring things about it. I would like to hold on to my non-Jedi combat ability as long as I can to shorten the gap between non-jedi combat effective to Jedi combat effective.
Thank you for you input everyone

Just remember that I was only talking about postponing the training of skills in the saber tree. Training skills in the other trees do increase your xp per mob cab. And usually they also give you some fun skills to play with.

I believethat getting more boxes of any type, saber or healer, increases your exp per creature. Each creature has a max exp you can get from it. Grassland Voritor Trackers are maxed at about 1150 I think. As you gain more and more boxes your exp per creature increases. Before I was getting around 950 for these at saber 0044. Now at 1244 and healer 2000 and enhance 2000 Im getting around 1050 exp per creature. I imagine that eventually I will hit the cap exp for trackers. The downside of course is that easy creatures give less exp. Quenkers now only give 100 something whereas they used to give 500.

Sorry this statement confuses me a bit. When I lvl what skills? I am just a bit unclear is all. I had not considered this, but will need to factor it into the equation of to determine my course of action. Thanks
Answer Example: Lvling the Saber Tech Tree or other Styles of Saber raises xp from creatures, or Lvling the Healer trees raises the xp give from creatures.
Sure it's one of those, just not sure which, thanks in advance for the clarification.

I can tell you from experience that training skills in the threeleftmost branches of Lightsaber does NOT increase your xp per mob cap. I can't really remember if it was different when training sabertech skills. But all the other skills in the other trees do increase your xp.
