Yes when you adk your lightsabre you are adking the handle which is like a container.You can then switch pearls any time you want once there inside your adked handle they won't decay if you moved a pearl from that handle to another it would then decay as normal .

Unless you have an ADK, in which case no part of your LS(be it the LS itself or the crystals/pearls in it) decays at all.

Ok, thats no problem. By the time I will have got good enough to tune decent Crystals/Pearls, I will have had my ADK vet reward, so at least thats something to look forward to!!!
