This is a good point but the main prob with it is that most BE pets can be 1-2 shot killed.

Now i know some of you will say powers has this, but why does sabers not have an intimidate move? Yes, powers has it but that is ranged and if you are not a master powers you will miss 70% of the time and it will not stick.
Other melee classes have this move i believe sabers should also. A saber is suppose to be a very powerfull weapon and you would think it should at least intimidate someone a little.
Go to your friendly neighborhood M Creature Handler, have him train you a pet that has the Intimidate ability if your template doesn't allow for it.

i tend to disagree on this one. i dont think anyone should be able to make a all-in-one toon without giving up something. that is currently the problem with the crop of swords tk pike docs we got running around. they have the ability to tank deal damage and self heal and self buff.
right now jedi is all about choices as there are not enough skill points to go around to cover all the bases.

The AOE powers intimidate is not to be messed with
I took my Mpike/Tk0100/Doc4004 toon out with an Mpowers MDefender and herded around 30 Blackscale cl81s. With the Mpowers Jedi, I was able to bunch them all up and kill them all with not my danger to myself or the Jedi.
Felt like I was playing my Invulnerable Tanker on City of Heros. It's that great.
Back to the original topic:
If Jedi were to get a single target intimidate power, I believe it would be best to leave it as a Master Powers ability. I'd really hate to see dabblers in powers...as effective as a Master in the profession. It's already kind of moot to be Master Powers. Sure choke is good, but come on..

ive never said that heh. intimidate is my go-to skill in pvp. that and synth and i have a defense. its why i have always wondered why people think mpowers/mls have no defense. we do. its just not what most linear thinkers would consider.
