lightsabers will have a 50% failure chance of igniting.
You will get a new ablility called saber sheath throw (1 off) that does a maximum of 100 points damage and does not return.

This is unreal... A Nerf every other publish.. This has to stop. We are crying and getting weaker and weaker.. THe cloak did need to adjusted to stop from preforming some actions, But not snared and nerfed the way it is.
I dont think this is a nerf exactly is it? I mean the un cloaking if looting a container or healing is kinda not a nerf right?
If the only part is the snare then that is no biggy right either due to the fact you cant be targeted right? (supposedly).

IF they fix the targetting bug whilst cloaked before they change cloak I may be more accommodating.
Somehow I doubt that will happen.
I'd like to know what skills are "working as intended" so I can grind those skills and not have to worry about it later down the road.
My guess is thateverything works as intended until people use their ingenuity and the Dev's think it's unfair so they nerf it and say "it's not working as intended".
Ha, at this rate, it will all have a snare cause inevitably when you nerf something, people get another skill and make the ultimate use out of that and people start bitching about how unbeatable that skill is or an exploit, so they nerf that too.
You know thats my thought exactly. tell us what the acceptable template is so we can stop wasting our time with the revolving nerf door and the regrinding of templates. My guess is they believe a real Jedi is a MLS/MDEF everything else is novelty.

No I understand to well. Thats why I just don't think I can do it again. I don't grind for FOTM templates. I have been a Powers jedi since before the CU (I wasn't a completed jedi back then but was working on a MLS/MP template). Cloak was my management tool that allowed me to enter and exist the fight as needed to manage my low damage high force cost discipline. Now I will have very little defense and no way to offset my lack of offensive ability which means my chances of survival have been lessened where my chances of being a real threat have not been expanded. If Powers was being reworked to be more viable then the cloak changes would not be all that bad as it would be just another skill like cover with limited use but as the discipline lays now its the heart and soul of a powers template. Don't get me wrong I understand the exploits weren't as intended all for fixing the looting and healing others, however the current system is far from a so-called "intended tiptoe forst strike ability" which leads me to feel the "intended" clause was pulled here simply as a way to try and justify rather then saying yes it scomplained about to much so we are going strictly limit its use.

But you don't understand. Since day one: GRINDING is the game. There has been repeated demonstrations of this fact. Mindless infuriating changes made to combat classes for noobvious logical reason other then to force the player base to constantly regrind combat classes in the never ending pursuit of getting some advantage in pvp and keep the $15.00 a month coming in.
Wash, rinse, repeat.
