i have no medic and no tkm(master chef/master pike), i have grinded up to dbls3 and have not died once. i grinded novice on yavin. i got around 75-100k a buff, killing maimians and most every thing u can, most creatures on yavin do not DB. i stayed on yavin to grind dbls1.
i carry a crappy pistol with me and use it to pull creatues one at a time, and i eat the foods that all the other posts tellya about.
dbls2 i moved to endor, it goes alot faster since u can kill stuff better now with your new hits. i found using area attack on wild blurrg hunter lairs gets u alot of xp, they only yeild 370xp each( if in group) but u get like 30+ creatures out of a lair fast, and u can finish a lair in about 5+ min.
anyways hope it helped in some way

Drop master swords, pick up 4000 fencer and 0004 TKA. That should max out your melee defense. Grab as much medic that's needed to heal all your ham in one stim on a consistant basis, and you're golden.

I am tkm, and have some fencer melee def line, and medic 4-4-3-0(stim C's) sabers 1-0-0-0, naovice healer and novice enhancer and i didnt have problems you seem to be having...probably because of swordsman defenses...seriously the onyl time i end up healing is when i have 5 borgle sappers on me, down a pikatta and just kill em and heal occasionally

Medic x/x/4/x is a must at the lower levels.
The ability to heal 1500-2200 dmg per heal is a lifesaver for sure.

i am master swordsman and just got novice ls......i have NO medic skills. i use dodge and accuracy food. i kill creature 1 by 1 using saberhit 1 and i have plenty of force to spare.
i looked at the 'levelling guide for new padawans' thread, under novice ls it says do Borgle Life Sappers, Bolle Bol Stompers, and Crazed Gurrecks on endor.
borgle life sappers where the first missions i tried...i died because of their poison, -14k xp needless to say i was PISSED.
i then moved on to do bolle bol stompers, but about 4 of them attack me at once, sap my health away and i pretty much have to bike out of there everytime. i havent died doing these yet, but have come very close.
had a short go with quenkers, but i feel i will waste a lot of time fetching missions for these since they dont spawn very much. plus the added risk of vis that dant brings.
i use a 1st gen db ls 101-206 dmg 5spd 7fc.
no matter what animal i try, i dont feel comfortable taking them on or i cant get into a rythem.
i really need to know what to kill.

try putrid borgles and boarwolf cubs. i don't remember the xp that they yeild for sure but there are lots of spawns of them and you should be able to kill them quickly.

Here's a little tip-
Use intimidate and Warcry, they are your friends at the lower level. have sythsteak or exo-protein wafers handy, if the damage starts to build or you're getting jumped.
Quenkers i think are still the best way to go..since they are easyto get single pulls on, don't deal alot of damage, and don't drop states/poisons/diseases on you nonstop. As for visibilty issues on dantoonie, just go to a unpopulated unmapped city..and stay away from mining outpost.

oh..and another option is, if you still have a whole bunch of free skill points and yuo're only master swords.. grab some other melee skills, and get the defense lines, they'll help out, also, when indoubt, bring out your melee weapon to finish the job if you don't think you can run.
Learn when to run, learn when to fight, and you'll learn when not to die.

Wow! Sorry to hear that. Go to a remote area of Dantooine and hunt Quenkers (just quenkers, not enraged, etc). Also, drop something and get novice medic and some stim Bs. You need it much more than some other skills you have at this point. Also suggest you use intimidate and berserk along with cener of being in you grind macro. Someting like this:
/centerofbeing;
/attack;
/saberhit1;
/intimidate1;
/bersek;
/pause 30;
/macro lscmbt;
Always make sure intim sticks. I find it is more likey to stick if applied after a hit of some type. Once it's intim, then use berserk. It will do more damage than hit1. Also, it sounds like you already are, but be sure to use Pikatta pie and synthsteak to reduce damage. I am a huge fan of Pikatta pie. It's almost like wearing armor lol. Oh, and always be grouped to get the group xp bonus. If not with peeps, then use a droid.
Good luck!

Unfortunatley, CoB does not work with Jedi. It turns off a second after it activates. As for using berserk, you take more damage while berserk so even if the XPseems slower, you will still be better off using your saber hit 1 because you will/should take less damage in the end. Use intimidate on every creature you can, and try to tackle them one at a time if possible. I agree 100% with having Pikatta Pie and Synthsteak. Great foods for any level of any prof.
Most importantly, please remember Jedi isn't meant to be ground out in one day or even a week. Its a journey. Have fun with it, experiment with different methods and styles.
Congrats on Padawan and May the Force be with You.
