Do you 25% of damage delt? So it would be 0.25 force lost per 1damage point delt?
percent of damage mitigated//
But remember unlike Defender its force based.. so actully you take a small drain to force each hit. (Defender is inate Defense vs Enhancer is Force Based and time as well -- 15 min at FA1 and 30 min at FA2 ) not that the time is a big deal.. if your going to be a tank dont do Enhancer... if your crowd control and and semi-support damage dealer Enhancer is great.

Thanks, but im really most interested in how much force drain is imposed per damage delt as this is a deciding factor for me on what templateI chose
Well ok oddly this is different per hit or per damage perse. Lets put it this way, Defender takes less worry to Defenses then Enhancer, by all means Enahncer can hold its own but is not a Nercosis tank... so with that said think of it like this:
Defender is a no brainer Defense... its inate uses damn near no force to even worry about (unless you count avoid incap and aua).. While Enhancer is all force based.. you will need to learn how to use or manipulate the force a bit better. The amount of force used per hit is different per hit.. so it may never be the same depending on what you are fighting.
Hit for 1000 , 400 of it is mitigated etc... (Then that cost of force varries at times as I have seen) -- say it takes 40 force away or so.. each hit.. etc..or less. its funny but the harder you get hit the more it drops and fast.
Ok, so there isnt a fixed damage to force ratio for it? ![]()
Shame.. I guess i'll just go enhancer and hope its not too bad.
force armor givesyou 4k armor and jedi intitate givesyou 2k so u you will have 6k armor and i think its 8 force a hit not sure .I got novice defender to for 1k more armorso i got the same armor as a md but i dont have arua or the melee and range def they have.
ok exact stats are these
2000 innate armour from FA1 - 15 min buff
4000 innate armour from FA2 - 30 min buff
the force cost for FA2 is
150 to activate
then 8% force per damage - so absorbing 100 damage mitigatedcost you 8 Force
HOWEVER it only costs you force for the portion your armour absorbs - so with 3000 innate from Nov Def and 4000 from FA youll only cost yourself 4.5ish force per 100 damage mitigated
Yep the 4.5ish is goofy though I have seen that range alot so its back to (it varries alot at times)... lol

Many thanks for that precise reply mastersheep! Was exactly what i was looking for ![]()
I think I can safely say that closes this thread from my point of view ![]()
the difference between 7000 armour and 8200 armour isnt actually that much - about 5% i think..
my temp just has xx4x defender and FA2 for defence - its more than enough - personally i feel 20 SP for 5% more defence isnt really worth it
