i do very well with mls/mdef/enhancer 2004/healer 3000, in pvp and especially pve. and i only have a 500dps saber.

never get x4x4 LS no matter what, if anything 44xx or x4xx....

It is nice to have atleast one master skill, but MLS is not "neccesary".. Pick a template that you think you will and enjoy and fits your play style and learn it.. getting MLS to experiment for a better saber may be nice, but after I made a few sabers, I would drop.

You can NEVER get equal to MLS using tapes no matter what... because the MLS bonuses are added on top of every tape.. so a MLS+tapes will always be superior to a non MLS with the same tapes...

MLS is a must imo.

I have tried both MLS and non MLS and belive me the different is big.

MLS is not really needed, especially if you have the cash to get tapes to make yourself equal to a MLS.

The only attacks you lose are advanced saber throw (the ranged KD is nice but you'll have force supression so you won't miss it) And saber dervish which is an area attack that is only really useful for grinding in groups.
