Thread: Help Me with bh foods & macro
ImperialObserver101 <===== cheer
Listen to the post, obvious this person has experiance as he/she knows what they are talking about...
IF YOU ARE A LIGHTSABER USER DO NOT USE ELSHANDRUU PICA THUNDERCLOUD!!!!!!!!
INSTEAD IN ALL COMBAT USE VEGISPARIN AS IT HAS BEEN TESTED (LOOK AT THE STICKIES PEOPLE).
why must I do that??
In a fight ..wouldnt that be ...cumbersome?
yes use vegeparsine. the buff applys to the def your weapon uses so you will need more melee def. for foods i find being a jedi and a chef this is one of the best setups.
kanali waffer
blob candy
spiced tea
ruby bliel for stims
pikatta pie
vegeparsine(reequip weapon for buff to work properly)
booster blue
crispic
and have on hand exo protien waffer in case you begin to take to much damage from aura dropping or any other buff you are using to make up for lost time.
and if u want just more health buff in general a good stacker is vegnarian canape and brandi, it gives regen mods as well as nice health buff. only problem is the filling so almost cancels the fact.
basically find what fits your play style this works great for me i rarely lose 1v1 duels and die in massive pvp, though im a veteran of it and my template is MLS MDEF healer 2000 enh 3000. hope this helps you and good luck.

There are two bugs causing all this confusion. The first one is the semantics of Melee/Ranged defense. Right now it's actually Defense With not Defense Against. So Melee Defense boosts your defense value while equiped with a melee weapon. Some people debate whether it's intended or not, I think not but that's another thread.
The second bug is the requirement to dequip/requip your weapon. You have a total Defense Value that's a combination of your melee or ranged defense, weapon-specific defense, and bonuses from abilities. This Defense Value is used in a formula that determines the damage bonus / penalty you take from an attack. It appears that just eating the defense foods does not trigger an re-evaluation of this Defense Value. However, changing weapons does (most likely to account for weapon-specific defenses, like changing Pistol Defense to Carbine Defense). So, eat the food, get +100 bonus to Melee Defense, but it's not taken into account yet. Switch (dequip/requip) your weapon and the new number now takes your now-boosted Melee defense.
