Don't we have somthing called test center where we had many people saying this was broken

The new system is that we try it out on the testcenter for a few days and we collect all the feedback about how unbalanced it is. Then we take that feedback and shred it into a million pieces and we push it to live and collect some more feedback about how unbalanced it is. Then after a few weeks we change something else to try to balance the imbalance we have created with our last change.

I think there is a patent pending for this design technique.

All negative feedback (notification of bugs, exploits, errors, etc.) is processed and translated into "Great job things are working great and everyone in the community loves it".

If there isn't, one of us should file for it and start charging Sony royalties for it.

But then, every SWG publish is proof of "prior art" for that patent to be overturned

Down for a few hours, eh? That's good news for me, since I will be stuck at work at least that long. Later, we can all log on together like one big happy family!!!

...and crash the servers again!

SHHHHHHHH!! We plan that stuff on non-offical forums.

Good afternoon suckers,

This has happened ever patch since launch. SOE doesnt know how to test things. Look for the servers to be up around 9pm central time.

I am a SOE customer. Now, if they would only treat me like one...
i used to be 4 accts out of 450k active accts
then 2 accts out of 250k
then 1 out of 200k
now 0 of 175k as of dec 25th....
i am a soe shareholder and do know how many active accts there are.

Just as I predicted....Have gotten every server revert right since cu....I will say, soe is consistant on some things...and patch fixing patches is one of them....Why in the world cant the blue frogs in the t.c. be up all the time. It would allow a larger group of people to be able to test the system fully before these stupid recalls happen and save face for soe and might put back customer faith a bit that they know what they are doing.

Not every patch.... There was.. like.. one patch way back in the day that went pretty smooth. Weve been gliding on the hope that came from that patch for 2 years now.

I've had this argument with them forever. It is completely backwards to code first then ask for feedback on the changes then push it live and change it a few months later when the feedback turns out to have been accurate.

It even violates their own internal policies because major changes are supposed to be discussed In Concept before they go to testing. The almost never follow this for controversial changes though which is stupid. You can't hide a major change you might as well talk about it.
