This thread pisses me off on so many lvls...a fencer calling for nerfs on jedi

Your kidding me, right? If you run FR1 and I snare you, you lose NO movement speed. I also asked for logical statements, but like I had feared, you bunch are too immature to discuss things without flaming.

Logic > Jedi

I'm a jedi and force run isn't even a part of my template... You should stop generalizing.

And yes a jedi with force speed should be able to catch up with you even when snared.

I feel that Force Run 1-3are over-powered in some ways. Let me explain before you start to rant. As of right now, it costs very little force to run any of them. (So little that I have seen jedi run it AFK.) This however I think is balanced, as jedi should have a movement advantage. The main thing that really makes me mad is how when any version of FR is on, snare becomes completely useless. As a master fencer, I can beat almost any melee/non-jedi type with somewhat ease. If any part of my mind or action gets to low, I snare and run away. Now with jedi, I cannot do this. Niether can any other profession. And we all know that everyone has atleast FR1, so you can't say "Well not everyone has it!". So anyway, here is my idea:
When running FR1 and you are snared, yourmovement speed is now equal to that of if you were running just normally.
When running FR2 and you are snared, your movement speed is now equal to that of FR1.
When running FR3 and you are snared, your movement speed is now equal to that of FR2.
If you do not like this idea, please post why and try not to flame me. Also make sure you have a logically reason to why this is not balanced.

ok so what you want is to be able to beat the crap out of a jedi and if you are losing just snare and run.... sorry but this will not happen

for the following

any ranged profession with a snare/root move would be able to kyte a jedi indefently without getting into any danger unless they miss a shot.
just root/snare/root... so on a 80m rifleman would be untouchable.

out of the 3 force run's only fr 1 is usefull in combat since it doesn't have a damage reduction but yet it's slower than burst run that you can use the food to run away for a couple minutes if you have an empty stomach. Both of the other force run's have a 90 or 99% dmg reduction basically making them useless in combat unless you are doing a hit and run

fr3/attack/fr3

keep in mind that jedi can't choose which one to activate as if you have the higher form of it you can't choose the lower one

if they take that away from jedi we are just another fencer/swordsman/pikeman with even worst skills

sorry but i just don't agree with your point of view

no sig won't let me use html sniff sniff

- I support a rollback and keeping & balancing the old combat system.
