No FS Crafting Skills, and just a regular "non-village" tool. My alt used to be a chef, so I'm used to experimenting endlessly till I get the amazings needed, but I didnt' have to make an excessive number to get the results needed. No special skills, just dogged experimenting till it worked. Just got lucky recently I guess.

I and my guildys have noticed we are getting few amazing successes too. Thats using all the best, blah, blah, blah...
Anyway, just the other night I had to take off in the middle of crafting and after several experiments, using one point at a time, (like I made my 7 Amazing pt saber, so I know it USED to work) and dumped 4 points all at once in dmg, and got my first Amazing of the day!!
Well, then it clicked, I tried using 4 points at a time, and it was Amazing, amazing, amazing! (12 pt tool set) Well, I think you can jump to the same conclusion I did.
I haven't tried doing just 2 at a time. But it might work.
Also, I noticed using port and cake at the same time, on assamblly, the CAKE dissapears, when really the port should have. I tried taking the cake again, and using one exp, but I only got a good, AND the cake dissapeared AGAIN, and the Port stayed put!?! But when I ignored the cake after assemblly, and only used the port during that time, the port started working propperly again. Weird.

I'm ready to try anything so I'll try your idea Jarvis.
I mean heck, all my superstitious methods for tuning got me 4 amazing tunes in a row so why not try this?

Server just came up and I did everything as usual.
I tried experimenting in groups of 4 points at a time like Jarvis had mentioned and it worked! I just built 3 sabers and everytime was an amazing success!! Now what that actually gained me I dont know...maybe 1 extra dmg point or so

I mentioned this the other day. I had everything, but my assembly food was only +12 so i guess i should look for better. I got no amazings out of 15 attempts.
I'll get better food and try and give this 4 exp a time thing a go.

This needs to be looked into to. Because it DIDNT USED TO WORK LIKE THIS!
