You can drop any Jedi skills you want. As for your FS boxes, you need to maintain 24 boxes (6 full trees). If you wish to change from one tree to another you will need to pickup a 7th tree (4 more boxes)first and then drop the extra tree from the original 6 of your choice.

Baciacca,

I was trying to do that, and did the quest for ranged speed -- but could not get the skill. It would not acknowledge that I had completed the quest in my list of FS skills I could train in. I sent in CS Ticket and the reply was that once you go jedi your six FS skills are locked to your toon and you can never change them. I was told exclicitly told I could not do this by customer service even though I'd 'heard it could be done.' Do we know that this is supposed to work? If so, why are they telling me not?

Once your jedi, you can never drop the the jedi profession. Yes you can drop jedi skills but your stuck with novice jedi for ever.

I do not know the answer to your skill dropping question..BUT the game is much better than it used to be...combat is much more strategic than the old spam my best special until you die pre-cu days. Much more fun now IMO

Yes, instead of one spamming one move for damage, now you spam two!

KD is still the same, armor break can be considered a form of dizzy (you take more damage)

Not sure how combat is any more strategic than it used to be, it's only a lot slower.

Thanks for all the input. I suppose the idea of dropping Jedi seems insane to some but I did the Jedi thing for a year plus and personally it's just not as fun as it was before. I know there is a lot of debate over that but that's how I feel. The game used to be unique. The CU made me realize that it's time for me to step down and let the new generation of players love the game. I used to not get enough with my five accounts but now it's hard to even log in.

I'd like to go back and finish up the few profs I didn't get a chance to do on what I consider to be my true SWG character before I quit for good.

I'd rather not have 24 SP essentially wasted, but I can make due with the situation.

Tip to LEC/SOE: Sci-Fi MMO players don't necessarily belong to the same resource pool as fantasy MMO players.
