Your experience is still intact. Nothing wrong with running man.

Grinding in a city,
came back to refil/get missions,
bh comes off shuttle.
Initiates.
KD's me,
i get up fr1 + heal
find a building run around it, while he follows me, so he can only get one shot it a turn of the house.
Suddenly he stops, gets something out ( i was looking on overhead map so possibly a swoop.)
i bring up datapad to get a bike out. accidently go for barc, by this times hes gotten round he blows it up ( oh noes 1mil to repair it )
anway, i run away behind another one and get a swoop out, blows up
i get another out behind the next building it gets blown up, thats my swoops gone.
I start searching through my backpack for a swoop, one deed.
Generate it, get on, swoop away, he follows with a bike of his own, must be something fast as he kept on catching up
every time he got close enough to shoot he dismounted but i was out of range before he could shoot
he managed to get one shot in but didnt disable, bike but i had two flame jets.
I manage to lose track of him and dismount leaving my bike out
i /logout and the timer starts. on the10 second timer he appears on radar (256m )
get off bike and approaches, i store swoop hopefully that i will be able to leave the game safefly with one swoop to get back
Login screen appears, im sucessful.
BUT i feel ashamed of myself for running.![]()

/logout makes you vanish instantly. And don't feel bad for running, you lived, and that meas you won.

Not necessarily faster, but faster on certain types of terrain. All vehicles don't perform the same on all types of terrain. While Vehicle A might be faster on the straights, Vehicle B might handle better (so you lose less time zigging and zagging due to the improved handling) and Vehicle C might handle better going uphill.
I haven't seen one recently, but I know there's a chart in the JTL version of the Prima Guide that shows the relative performance in terms of top speed, handling, uphill, etc. Might learn what each vehicle you own is best at and then you'd have some means of comparison. If you're in a hilly area, for example, pull the vehicle that does best going uphill and start roller-coastering. If you're in a flat stretch area, get the top speed beast out. If you're in a forest/city, get the one out that corners best. That little bit of performance improvement might be the difference between logging out safely (or stopping and having enough time to self-buff) and getting ganked because you didn't have the head-start you needed when the BH arrives.

I can see why you run,. But personally i would have stood and fought, never have i ran from any Bounty Hunter. Even when i got my first novice box i fought em, suicide yes. But to die and loose XP is far better than running like a coward in my opinion. XP can be recovered, pride cannot.

interesting.
you know, i'd like to of seen you do a /logout in the wilderness without being in a camp/house/city before the CU and said it logs you out instantly lol.
While you're busy thinking you were safe, you'd be laying there dead and when you logged in the next time you wanted to play, you'd find yourself at the cloner.
I'll check on the instant vanish now and see if it works or not. If it does, it's a change that's been made since the CU was brought out.

bh have everything to gain and nothing to lose, no worries. had same sorta thing happen this morning. i rooted and fr2 off. as root landed bh says "fight!", i simple say "nope" and left dust. this is after tryin a few hits on him and determinin that i had no chance.
that is not true at all, unlike us jedi who do not need to worry about armor and buying good equipment (unless your one of those people who *must* have a perfect saber and dishes out 100 mils in premys). Most bh pay upwards of 10 mil for all their equipment, custom guns, armor, slices, food, etc. every time we beat on them, all that stuff, unlike our sabers which are almost all ADKed, gets decay, they need to buy new armor, new weapons each time something is disabled which can get extremely costy. so next time ya fight one keep in mind they do have something to lose

I would hazard to guess that BH's who have 10's of millions of credits to spend on gear have 10's of millions of credits to ADK all their important gear.

Don't worry dude, if you knew you couldn't win and you ran thats smart, only a moron would fight when they knew they would lose.

Oh reading through your story, and I would just mention a small tip?
Try loading your swoop from your datapad to your quickbar.
I remember using the /unstick exploit in the ryatt caves and confounding a couple BH's it was fun
