by the way, to any other jedi out there that havent noticed the increased BH activity, get ready to, with the way that high level mobs are acting now, BH's cant take out the bosses they get with their NPC missions, so for content they are back to hunting jedi. have fun

man, theres no need to apologize. Your not required to fight any bh, ever.....heres what you can do. Just pack up a house of yours and take it with you where ever you are grinding to place in the vicinity of where you are..Just make sure its a generic house, so you can take it with ya whereever.

jedis arent intended for bounty hunter content, bounty hunters were a profession since the early days of the game WHEN THERE WAS NO JEDI TO HUNT...so dont feel obligated to walk into a fight with a bh. Do what ya want, specially with this incredibly stupid publish that basically screwed everyone over, even bh's (elite mobs nerfed like crazy)

-my 2 cents

i find cloak to be a more viable solution to this. the only time i lose jedi xp to a BH is if i take off my cloak and try to fight. im just disappointed that i have to be such a coward now that i cant compete.

you know what else gets my gear? i dont even know if anyone who has control over this stuff even reads this stuff. does every well thought out debate sound like a whining arguement? do posts like mine get passed over because i sound like a whiny teeny bopper? I have played since launch, never cancelled my account. Bought another account just cause i wanted to enjoy even more content as a crafter and have played over 400 days on that account too. i beta-tested every expansion and pre-ordered them too. I have stood by through thick and thin as i saw people who start playing the game, get things that i had to wait for as a veteran. I stood up and took the slap on the face when i saw that people who paid money for a space expansion, had to stand there and watch as people who only paid for one expansion (ROTW) got a free JTL. Veterans get nothing useful for their time in the game. At 27 months of playing the game, i got a choice between a decoration and....a decoration. Whats the advantage of being in the game for years at a time? Its a better looking interior in your house. That's it. I have defended this game to my friends and people i meet who tell me that other games are better, and that swg is too buggy or not fun to play. its getting harder to defend. dont get me wrong, this is not a im quitting post, or a cancelled subscription, its just me whining i guess.

I see that there are 2 solutions here. Either cancel the account/s or go on stike. If every Jedi stopped playing their jedi, who are all the Bounty Hunters that like to hunt Jedi going to hunt? They will then start whining they have no content in game (and we know they will, they already complain that we can go into a private house, they want their bounties handed to them on a silver platter as is) and as we all know they are listened to. I have to agree, with the new snare and 1/2 hit kills, I'm on stirke. I will not play my Jedi. Most quests and content in game are NPC driven and therefore Jedi's will receive visibilty, so the Bh'er rhetoric that it's our choice to play our Jedi's and gain the visiblity (if we don't want to get hunted stay off the terms) is BS. BTW as the sig says, I have a Jedi and a BH'er, but I never, never hunt Jedi ( I wouldn't even hunt Imperial Jedi, because I know how hard it is to lose hard earned Jedi XP). They need to implement some sort of loss system for the BH'er also.

I sat my Jedi for 3 weeks, was out grinding for a week by myself in a remote part of Naboo, no one around and had a Stormtrooper walk up in the middle of my lair with my saber out, BAM, instant vis, within 10 minutes a BH'er showed up. Now you wouldn't think that little thing would have caused any vis (or at least very little) , but I was very careful, not running any macro's/forcepowers/equipping/unequipping saber all that good stuffaround people,so I know that's what caused my vis. I sent in a ticket, never mentioning the incident about the stormtrooper, and explained the situation. Thier response was that lighting a saber around a Stormtrooper creates a tremendous amount of vis. Hmmm, so how am I suppose to stay off the terms?

The statement in itself is a riot, but I think the highlighted part made me laugh so hard I'm crying a bit (refering to the comment about hard earned Jedi XP)

This istatement in itself is ignorant and is obiviously said by someone that has never had to grind a Jedi and neverlost Jedi XP. Jedi XP is hard to get especially when everytime you try to do something you turn around and have a f***ing Bh'er attacking you. If you stand and fight and lose, you lose 450k a pop (and then still don't usually lose all vis and get hit again), If you run you get hate tells from a good majority of them calling you everything from a f***ing coward to telling you to suck their *edit*. Not losing XP is aWIN anymore no matter how it's done, because of what the Dev's have done.

So I know what ALL (OK 98%) the BH'ers out there will say, "good one less Jedi to hunt", but eventually you will have none. They may happen sooner than you think. I suggest we all place our Jedi's on strike until this is fixed and the Jedi voices are heard.

I didn't make a new post on this, because it fits under this, I hope you don't mind.

OK flame away, I know you want to. This Jedi is on strike!

I can kill this statement in one phrase Chuck!

MY ALT IS A JEDI!

Been one for 3-4 months now Logicfarm. Not been hunted once! Wanna know why? Because I follow the visibility rules and don't do the stupid crap that gets you on the terms! WHAHA! Novel idea, I know.

i cant believe you have been enjoying the content that we are talking about, because one run on the corvette would get you the visibility you need to get on the terms. a trip to the avatar platform, the death watch bunker, or a necrosis run will all take care of your carefully guarded visibility. you will not be able to participate in many of the quests i tried on mustafar because most of them involve NPC's. enjoy the content you are currently experiencing, and while the rest of us are chugging through the immense visibility gained from the other 80% of the content in the game, kindly leave us to express our displeasure at having to do it at a cost of our hard earned jedi xp.

I do it with my main toon, as my Jedi is my alt the way they intended.

I honestly doubt that you have enjoyed any of the quests or anything that involves having a good time in SWG as a Jedi , almost all of them involve NPC's and yes, I've tried to follow the rules of vis (I was very careful because I wanted to regrind my temp without vis and being hunted)too if you would have read my full post. I was grinding, by myself for a week, in a remote part with on one around, when a NPC walks in the middle of my lair ( which means he spawned there, he wasn't on radar, with my saber out and lite.Jeeze, I know it was a long post but if you are going to reply at least read what you reply to, so you don't lookto sillyreplying.

And good for you, you havent lost any XP, so you haven't had to grind out of the hole, when the CU first came out I was a new Padawan and right off the bat a million in the hole (that wasn't even from being BH'ed). I had to grind out to even grind my temp, so it was very hard earned XP, and many can attest to that (I was lucky enough to have a friend that was willing to help me grind when I first became a Jedi). My point being, and now read this slowly, I know you can do it, if you are frustrated with publish 24 (and you obviously aren't) then you can either cancel, keep losing XP or go on strike. It's that simple.

I posted this after this was posted, so edited to add..

I play an alt too, but... and this may be a novel concept to you, some people actually want to have fun with thier Jedi too. What's the use in having a Jedi if you just let it sit there and play your alt all the time? Your Jedi is meant to be played, so what do you do with him then? play tiddly winks? I do a lot of quests with my alts, but I also have done quests with my Jedi, and again see above, grinding by myself, ST spwans in lair, yadda, yadda, yadda... stooopid... *shakeshead* some people don't read.
