Lame question.
No its not a lame question. If he wants to play AFK its his right. There is no rules against playing AFK in the TOS/User agreement. You have no right to tell anyone AFK play is not ok. Do you make sure an entertainer is ATK before they buff you?
Actually, playing afk is against the EULA.
right..... that's why they had the mass entertainer / buff docbot banning last year....

I actually don't get buffs from people AFK since I don't need XP... I did all 36mil XP for my template ATK, I think you can too. It is really not that hard.
Want a hint? Get off of Lok. Lok is for FS grinding, NOT JEDI. Make some friends who are full template. They can tell you who to ask about grinding (At least on Starsider). If you really want to AFK it, I really hope some Bounty Hunters get you multiple times in a row. I wish nothing but XP debt on AFK grinders.

The only thing I have seen in EULA about playing away from keyboard is using 3rd party programs.
If you know of something I do not please show me. I havent seen anything about being AFK, if you use strictly in game commands and macros.
It is a person's right to be AFK and try to grind at the same time. It would be thier fault if they end up dying because of it.
BTW, no I dont know any AFK grinding spots, I've never really AFK grinded

People go to where a crowd gathers because its easier to find a group. On some servers that is Lok these days just like it was Dantooine before the CU. We've talked on Starsider about why this is. I think it has to do with some of the balance issues on Dantooine right after the CU. Regardless if you want to find a group quickly on my server Lok is the place to go. Some people form groups there then head to Dantooine to grind.

Where in my post do I ask advice on how to grind. I was just making a statment on AFK grinding. I can do 3 mil Jedi xp in 10 hours. But thats not the point. The point is that if somone wants to afk grind they can becuase there are no rules in place saying they cannot. Who do you think you are to impose your views on other players?

AFK play is NOT in violation of the EULA. Using 3rd party programs to manipulate SWG is in violation. Using the in game macro system is not in violation of the EULA as long as the actions don't violate any other rules.

yeah, it's Lok on Bria too. The main reason for Gurks is the non-viz and lack of special attacks they perform while not db'n if incapped.
I can still pull about 2x as much exp on Dantooine then Lok with no additonal risk. Also, not sure aboiu the lag on Lok from your server but Bria is about impossible - heck, the entire Bria server is jacked!
4yearold hardware built upon a beta server for teh win!!

Well if you remember during the heyday of solo groups pre-cu Dantooine had to be upgraded in hardware becuase it couldn't handle the load. Hundreds of players hitting refresh on mission terminals non stop was causing the server to be lagged to hell. I think the same thing is happening on a smaller scale on Lok now on many servers.
I agree with those who say that pickets on dantooine are better than gurks but its just easier to find a gurk group on Lok than it is to find a picket group on Dantooine on my server. I don't know how one person goes about changing a trend like that.
