Well the Twi'leks are even more of a slave race than the Wookiees are, why should they be allowed to wear the jedi stuff? why do they get the ability to wear the things that everyone else does if they are a slave race?The reason is that the entire race of Twi'leks and Wookiees are not enslaved, though some of them are. You have been to Kashyyyk, did you see a lot of enslaved wookiees there, if so point them out to me, cause i sure didnt see many wooks who were having their rights taken away. Besides the fact that we aren't talking about enslaved wookiees here, my character is as free as yours. If there was a backstory about why wooks and ithorians cant wear the new goods, or if there were quests that had stuff only wooks and ithorians could wear, then i could understand the path the devs have taken here. What i have a problem with is that there is no reason why we are being left out. Some things wear cant wear that we should, like a cloak, which is basically a mostly formless bolt of cloth that is draped over the body, while we CAN wear items that are much more difficult to fit to a wookiee. For example, the mining suit. I can wear that as a wookiee, though when i do, my head hovers a ways from the top of my torso, and the body itself while wearing the suit, is a human body...with breasts no less. When i wear my mining suit, im essentially wearing a halloween costume where im a human female with a wookiee male head, hands and feet.It seems logical to me that a cloak (which has desirable mods), should be more 'wearable' than a form fitting bodysuit (which has no useful mods that i can find). Barring this logic, then if there was a back story explaining that the giver of the reward is afraid he has nothing for me in my size, or to fit my species, but i can take this reward if i like, then it would make more sense.I can imagine that there would be similar posts by non-wooks and non-ithorians if there were quests that gave out highly desirable loot that wasnt wearable by everyone else. If the only jedi cloaks given out in the expansion were for wooks only, imagine the outcry.

WHOA you step over the line talking about Twi'leks. We own the galaxy. Please stop making stupid wookiee posts, you knew what you signed up for when you chose a wookiee and you are LUCKY that you even have armor. I cant wear a stormtrooper helmet, or Imperial Ace Helmet and I cry myself to sleep EVERYNIGHT about it, but I still dont make annoying trite posts about it.

What would be nice though, is a CLEAN and UPDATED information page when creating a new toon that explains what species can or cannot do. I expect a human not to be able to wear wookie or ithorian gear since it's different. But when I first created an alt on another account and made it a female human to be my crafter and use my +10 medical experimentation tusken gloves, I would have liked to know beforehand that females can't wear gloves that have 5 fingers. Why? no idea.
That tought me never to truse SOE logic and try everything myself and not trust their logic

When I created a wookiee at friggin LAUNCH i did not know they would have the limits that they have. It wasn't until much later and much time invested that I realized this. By then I loved my Wook and wouldn't trade him for the world.
The devs are just being jerks about this. They don't want to take the time to make stuff for two of the races. Bottom line.

Are you sure ? You didnt realise when you couldnt equip that bone armor ?

A long time ago wookiees protested on bria right at theed starport for armor.The next patch they got it. But then the game started going down hill, people protested the CU and their plees were ignored. If your gonna protest go somewhere u can lag the server to hell and pray they listen.

Same thing for the new Jedi cloaks. Wooks and Ithorians left out again. Heck take the wookiee smock and use that to make a new Jedi cloak for wooks. Something could also be done for Ithorians also!
In another thread TH has confirmed that the Master Taming Necklace is not wearable by Wooks and Ithorians also. The thing is Wookiees have a speciaes ability that adds to CH. Now we cannot use this new Master Taming Necklace because it was made using pre-existing art that wooks and ithorians are restricted from? Who had their head up their arse when that decision was made?
Take one of the Master Pilot Medals that wooks and Ithorians can wear and use that for both the Miner's Medallion and the Master Taming Necklace for pete's sake. Don't you people think things through before you implement anything? Oh wait I forgot I was talking about SOE here, they only think about friggin profits.
