Thread: Forced-PvP stopped, PvE Jedi are free!

In the long run Im happy about this move... I have posted before it that I was, I caught wind of it early (Lucky) and posted some things about it before hand. I can only see good things from it, with all the bugs in the CU this is the last move to save the game.
(ironic) that the Template it looks like Jedi has IS THE SAME FREAKING ONE I HAD PRE patch 9 !!! LOL -- Which is back to us NOT fighting about crap or nerfing each other-- (Hard to nerf what we all are exactly alike lol) --SO while you may be happy, It cost you a whole class and history of a class in this game that was once reared Rare, Powerful, and Unique ....

way back when before there ever was a swg and it was just being talked about and luncheons and what not. it was asked if jedi should be rare and powerful.
when this question came about i gave out a resounding "hell no". DO NOT ever try to over come someone else's will or desire for something. human history has proven time and time again that mankind will fight, and if need be kill for what it most desires in the world. an mmo is no different. making jedi rare and powerful was the worst mistake ever, no matter how hard you make it people will want it and they will do what ever they have too to get it.
some time later after the pandora's box was opened, it was asked if i would give up that power i had to get back the choice that was givin up in the very begining. this time i gave a "hell yeah".
this will truely fix this game and those who trully want to be "jedi" will be and still love it just the same, the uniqueness is with the individual, not the profession.

Dont' you dare hide behind the RP argument. If you were a real roleplayer you would be off the terminals. If you were a real Roleplayer a BH attack would be a Roleplayers Dream.

Why not stop whining and leave, off you go now.
And for all you people who want to PvP whats stopping you? Go talk to a recruiter and you can all go somewhere and fight each other while the rest of us enjoy the game

So having NO detereant and no limits on jedi is going to fix this ? Most people are going to re-roll jedi, even the dancers and crafters. ITS GOING TO BE WORSE THAN EVER YOU MORON.

Who cares, the game will be fun at last! You PVPers had your chance to make things work and you failed now let us try. And from what has been said I think you will find that Jedi will be especially tough to get after all you can re-roll to Force Sensitive, not Jedi, it could take 6 months of questing to get Jedi from FS, until we see what is on TC tomorrow we dont know how good a job they have done so sit back and enjoy the ride kthxbye!

I know and in beta this was brought up in different means of course. BUT at the same time there was somthing about this (back then with the Risk of it being ok) -- balance was the risk.... that made it intresting a ONE Hell of a challenge beating all games I have ever played as far as that goes. (Since BBS boards days) the challenge was there and it was a magnet for the ones that wanted to see if they could do it.
While I understand this and what has happend of course, I also know what it took some of us to get here.. and no, not the one month grind..lol I said it before and I will say it again, this class and profession is unique -- it WAS hard it WAS a challenge... I know that the new system will be fun and I know it cannot be worse then the mess we have now.
The best part about this to me is that I don't have to look at 4000 posts a month of "NERF THE OTHER JEDI NOT MINE".. crap..
Lol, BACK TO PRE PATCH 9 TEMPLATES!! lol... I liked em myself lol.

Sorry for you who became Jedi to own the server, I guess Jedi was just given back to us roleplayers, while playerhunting was ripped from BH's like a candybar they never deserved.

Because it we have been nerfed to that of a normal professions.
If you wanted to stay off the terms it was possible. The choice of getting on the terms was usually mine and Jedi vs BH was the only fun I had at times.

trouble is if you where grouped doing things likes quests etc it pissed the rest of your group right off when the fights last 40 mins
