People come and go and your reward for your two years is the toon you work on, plain and simple.they make a change you adapt and overcome not whine and cry, get over yourself.

Same here, as well i havent had many of my 2 year vet members of are guild leave we are still togethter to support each other through this CU change and now we actually are very excited for this new CUII upgrade because sounds fun so give it a try if u dont then leave one less whiner here

1. Hard work for over 2 years. The countless items and equipment that will now be worthless.

2. The many many many friends that have left the game for good over this. Whats the point in playing when all your close friends are gone.

3. The time wasted on discussing improvements to the game. Reading fourms, posting, talking back and forth between player correspondents and devs trying to build a community. Countless hours wasted talking about class improvements, being pround of your class.

4. The fact that many feel tricked into buying the new expansion and having a crushing blow of an announcement only days after

Even if the new game is WAYYYYYYYYYYY better and much more fun ( and thats one **edit**ing big hell of an if) it wont bring your guilds back it wont prevent you from feeling cheated and raped of something that you felt your helped build and be a part of.

And to your tards that keep flaming the people that are mad most of you only having 1-100 posts you dont know **edit** about it so keep your traps shut. We already hurt enough from our losses and we dont need you telling us that we are blowing things out of proportions.

I for one will never be playing an SOE game again. Shame on you for what you have done here. Youscrewed the game up from the start you had to make cover after cover for it you spent most of the last 2 years fixing the fixes and lost countless players because of it and you thank the people that stuck though it all with you with a kick in the nuts.

for me, its a game and it has never been work and definitely not hard. I've never considered my items to be worth anything and have given away far more than I've kept. I'm just happy that I had the chance to play jedi pre patch 9, pre village, pre CU and now pre NGE.

For those that have worked up to jedi and have only had it for a short while, then I'm sorry you missed out and are being put into a starter profession. But you must admit, any game that has one uber class just won't work. Everyone will want to be that class. I hope the new system makes jedi rare by making them weaker than any other class.

i've had many close friends leave and I've made more. Some of the friends that left I still talk to in counter strike, Guild Wars, instant messaging or email.

I have to agree that it sounds like we will all be cookie cutter players, but it just seems that they would not make it so cut and dry. Even in a simpler game like Guild Wars two people playing the same class could be completely different in their skill set and skill distribution. I assume this upgrade will allow for the same wide variety of customizations to the way your skills are rolled. If not, then it will be the stupidest thing they ever did.

I can't agree more, the programming for this change had to start in July at the very latest, which means it was planned before combat upgrade 1 even went live. The amount of planning meetings, development tema meetings, implementation meetings and all that garbage takes months. So if that is the case and they are not working in some magic programming portal that stuff happens faster there than any other software company, why didn't they just put off CU and let us play the old system until now? Moot point I know, but it bugs me that we were given a crap system to deal with for 6 months...

What exactly are you going to 'overcome' here? The Jedi which had 24 specials now has three and is a starter profession.

Im fine with the CU2, im not fine with an XBox version of SWG... u know how much of an advantage conole gamers will have over us? an Xbox controller will pwn a mouse any day... much easier to use in fast paced games

Duda, I don't give a about your dumb items. Did you have fun getting them? Yes? Then nice, you had fun. Or no? Then you are dumb, why did you play the game that was not fun? Now, those "items" are just bits of data in database, you are not going die without them, mr carebear. There will be NEW item, yes, more items for you, items, items, loot, items and items. Check the change first, cry later, not the opposite. Of course everyone sees that this changes went into wrong direction, but with soe unable to think out of the box this is the only thing to change this game, for better or wors. I expect this game will die by the end of this year, but maybe this CU2 will be a deus ex machina to actually save this game and make it better. I don't know. You don't know. But stop crying about your virual items, carebear.

This current CU isn’t the greatest. Any change is welcomed by me, as I don't see how it can't be worse than what we are at now. You have all right to be upset and good luck! This new CU could in fact have the opposite reaction to what you are saying, and bring back a lot of old timers, & new more exciting communities...only time will tell. We all see what's going on, and we can choose to leave anytime also. After all it's a video game, and there are more important things out there in the world to stress about.
