Eh, sabers then and sabers now,at some point bad timing will cost you in a game that goes for years on end, and yes incase you are now wondering,I am a jedi( not out trollin). I dont however, understand how everyone got the impression that all jedi that unlocked post cu are now fully templated. Granted, i know that wtih respecing and kash, it would be easy for some to go that route. But if you hold that against post cu jedi, it should then be viable for them to hold 0,0 endor, geo caves, composite, krayt sticking, etc etc against all of the jedi who unlocked pre-cu. Doesnt seem like a fair arguement unless you bring that up, but as most would attest, just because an easy path exists doesnt necessarily mean that everyone took it.

You dont understand the first thingabout saber crafting and i suggest you educate yourself before posting this kind of rubbish. Let me break it down so even you can understand.

1: The main factor in final DPS (even thoough the formula is broken and should be ignored) is pearl speed and NOT the base of saber

2: When comparing sabers you compare the BASE of the empty saber, not the fully loaded versions

3: 135 SAC? what the hell are you? Novice LS or something? I can beat that with 0 pts in effectivness. If you're just a noob then of course your saber will such. Just because they give out 4th gens for free (a damn disgrace) doesnt mean you can make a good one.

3: I can currently craft a 4th gen with 95 SAC. Yes, you heard me right, a post-CU with 95 SAC.

Simply put, your saber is worst than most pre-CU because you obviously arent MLS, using the right foods ect. As for the DPS, look at the speed on your pearls, you'll find THAT is what makes DPS go through the roof. Seriously, im astounded by the ignorance of Jedi on these forums sometimes...

And I know of 3 jedi that have +800 dps with pre cu sabers

yeah this is very true, you can get a good saber so people should stop whining about pre-cu sabers.

on the topic of sabers and pearls, if only i'd known about pearls pre-cu i would have spent less time trying to finish jedi and get some nice pearls

i got 650 max damage and 450 DPS alright but not great

i just call my droid, get them to engage the bounty hunter while i heal it from afar well, i wish anyway

Don't tell other people they aren't trying when you don't know anything. I've tuned over 100 pearls/crystals in total (a few premiums some quality and the rest good) and have yet to get one over 100 damage or one with -9 FC. In all honesty, you can't come on here and generalize every jedi when you don't even know them. That just makes you look like a child, just like all those other post-cu jedi who are whining. I am wanting premiums back for the sole purpose of having the same opportunity that the pre-cu jedi had. I've played since launch, just about how long they have been playing. I grinded Holo's and I grinded FS. For me to not have the same opportunity as the pre-cu jedi is very unfair. If I'd have unlocked pre-cu i would have grinded just as they did. That is why i hate pre-cu jedi whining about how we don't have any problems or anything or that we don't deserve it cause we didn't grind what they did. First of all, they could solo things and actually do crazy damage. Everyone has had it easy one way or another. I just want the same opportunities to get a perfect saber. My saber is currently 560 damage with -22 FC. One day, I hope to be able to have a 600 damage saber or a 700 damage saber with -10 FC or below like the rest of them.

Force Cost doesnt mean much in the new system...I run with a 17 FC saber for sparring, and its fine...only use my -9 on teh jedi haxXers
