I think the whole game in general was better Pre-CU.

I am done. I can't continue to play a game that makes a Jedi take longer than 2 swings at a target. Make it harder to hit the target, but for crying out loud, the movies made this game popular and I dont recall a Jedi having a hard time killing anything at their level once the saber made contact. The animation is sooooo boring.

I want to point out here that in the beginning Everyonecomplained that combat was too fast. When SOE fixed it so that combat wasn't too fast, combat became extremely long and boring (I'm speaking of PVP here.)

It seems the C/U has become very long and boring again. 45 minute PVP fights 1 on 1, to me, that sounds tiresome, not fun.

But so much of this game is so very tiresome and not fun. Some days it's a real challenge to pick a tiny part of the game that I like to play, and play it.

Really, besides adding levels, I don't see what benefit the Combat Upgrade was besides "forcing" people to group.. Which to me is just another game mechanic that takes away from a players choice in how they want to play the game.

I really miss the combat queue, i could see at a glance what specials were queued up and when they were about to be executed. I could also see whenI hadcleared the combat queue and hit a new special to counteract my opponents attack. I only had to glance at it to see the status of my attacks, while concentrating on the actual characters in the fight in progress.

I find it much harder to see the status of my specials by looking at the icons. As i have to look at several different icons on the toolbar and their collective status, including cooldown timers. I'd much prefer to watch my charcater fighting than concentrate on a toolbar, in that respect the combat queue was much simpler and more elegent.

In fact, I've stopped looking at the toolbar all together, and just anticipate the timings now.
