Thread: 1 Year of grinding = 1 cloak, 1 saber, 1 crystal.I dont think so..veterans post here not a petition

i think i had more fun grinding up all my jedi toons rather than being completed
i feel sorry for the new guys, not having to watch over your back for other people, trying to stay away from npcs, people, everything so you dont get on terms, kind of gave the jedi more of an elite class feel
i see your point..but uh, i hate that damn grind.. i will admit with BH coming after me and winning once and awhile it was great but, other then that..no thanks, i grinded back when it was solo....solo...solo.. nothing, i killed 50,000 voritors, 20,000 bols. and I about killed myself over that damn grind. but after awhile i made it. and it was worth it. now..i am just sad.

What they did was took this clause and ran a marathon with it. I have a feeling that we could actually sue them over this and get quite a bit of our money back if we went to the trouble of a class-action law suit.
The quest items from TooW, for example...many of us bought the expansionwith the expectation that the loot would be worth something 6 months from now. Now the value is completely different based upon the changes to the game that were accounced right after TooW was released. This constitutes some sort of breech...I just don't know what.
It could be a landmark case. At some point, players have to be protected from stuff like this.
All that being said, I'm going to stick around. Partly because I invested so much time and want to see how this turns out...and partly because I want to see just howmuch they can destroy the game.
And, hey, it is always possible that they will finally get this right....LOL...giggle...ROFL....sorry...couldn't keep a straight face on thatone...

Ok but before we get to bent out of shape lets wait and see what the post as stats on the new robes, if the new mustafarian cloaks can be worn over them, what elemental damage and color the crystal is, and if the blue glowy allows you to walk around and not attract aggro.

Hi Folks,
fact is they will change a lot, also fact is there is not much known about it. So best guess imo is, just wait until it´s on test and then get a look on it. Maybe, cant believe or trust SOE/LA, they turn out a real good game this time, but if not it´s time to say goodbye.
This almost looks to me like WoW. Get your Race, take a Class and go, no chance to change it after it.
Mostly i want to know, what happens to our Veteran Rewards like ADKs, or what happens to our other hard earned stuff like CAs, Pearls Crystals (Bane´s Hearth) etc.? I know there will be no more decay but will we get a Compesation for it? What´s about the players who spent a lot of time to get more than 1 ADK? What´s about the High Quality Armors we have full of ADKs or the Special Clothing for our Jedi Toon, anything wasted time and money?
The Idea current Jedi become a slightly better saber than new players (will there be any?) is not to bad, and it´s also not to bad any1 has a equal saber, it´s ok for me. I´m Pre CU Jedi so i almost have a good saber, not Uber but better than most of the post CU, but i can handle it if post CU get an equal saber to mine. Also if they give us FRS back in any Way (guess thats the Level 80-90) there couldn´t be Uber and normal because only the Uber will be high ranked then. So imo not anything is bad with the Changes.
And let´s look at FS as starter, maybe and just maybe because i don´t know, it gets much harder to get a CL80+ Jedi than ever, because nobody know´s how hard the grind or questing thing gets on the FS Tree´s.
Only thing i gonna miss is the Healing, because Medic will the only prof to heal others.
btw. i´m not payed by SOE or LA that´s just a few of my opinions, and i will take a look on the Changes and then decide what to do, if the Game turns equal to WoW then i will move there because Blizzard has a much better Support.

Look at the bright side. Obiwan and Yodahad it alot harder...Obiwan had to get chopped in half to get Blue Glowy, and Yoda had to die of old age (1,500 years old? I dunno) We just hit F12!

I would like to post some disturbing news for us though and something maybe we should be upset about. Tiggs clearly stated that if you are jedi (defined as having any skills in jedi what so ever) you will recieve the veteran rewards.

i have friends, i have a girlfriend, i have a job, i'm about to go to College. I go out a lot, still i had time to grind a Jedi PRE9
That fact all those who grinded a Jedi have no life is a bull**edit**.
