There will never be an even playing field, SOE and LA haven't got it right yet, what makes you think they will now?
I became a Jedi, in part, for the thrill of the hunt...hunting the hunters. I will miss it.
All the current Jedi joined the profession knowing the risks. It was too bad that the rewards were so watered down over time.
Now it is done. I never called people "care bears"...I simply laughed at the people who chose this route with the expectation that the consequences somehow shouldn't apply to them.
Now all of that is over. The "Care Bears" won...which is how it should be, since it was that way in the Care Bear cartoons...and the gamejust became a cartoon.
I said I wanted to be here when the game died...glad it came so quickly and the blow was landed so fast. It is less painful that way.
The irony will be if this takes off, becomes immensely popular, and the pre-NGE/pre-CU days are forgotten.

Guys you will really enjoy it. Go over and look at the BHs screaming. Better yet just Troll a bit and get them whipped up!

You are clueless, your problem is with Combat Medics which was a stupid class that should have never been in the game. I had plenty of good fights with Jedi, and I lost some and won some, and for the most part the Jedi enjoyed the fight, so this is making a lot of Jedi unhappy. Just because you want to log in and kill Meatlumps all day and take screenshots of yourself wielding a saber, doesn't mean other people don't want to fight with each other.
I can't outheal a Jedi, and I can't out tank a Master Defender, I can out damage most Jedi except the perfect pearl having bunch. Maybe if you didn't have force shield up when you fought, your force wouldn't drain so fast.
Watch how bored you get once you have run through all of the content, and have nothing to do, then when you PVP with your "JEdi" a 15 year old kid on a PS2 will kill you with his smuggler, and then send you a tell and say "dood ur JeDi suXxOrS". I bet you will be crying for the old system to come back.
You should read the post in the NGE forum, they have Harrison Ford Voice overs for Han Solo (big whoop), all the new content is for new players, so once you run through all the current content be happy sitting Blue Glowie in your house sewing new robes for your Jedi.

Yeah I think the Jedi screaming and whining is a much better sound to our ears.

this is priceless!I know, I think that alone makes it worthwhile. 
But i am excited about the changes, I hate what the CU did to Jedi, so I am ready to be on an equal footing, even if we do lose some uniqueness.

Are you saying there are 3 month old jedi now? Im not sure I could make proper sense outta that, no offense. Oh, and my initial comment was saying that I will miss player bounties.. It could be made fun in the new system.
