look at what you're shooting. when it dies it will say something like

+5836 experience
(+20% group bonus)


everytime i kill something, it tells me how much weapon experience i gained.
however it does not tell me how much combat or medical experience.

the best way is hit ctrl s and bring up your accumulated points screen thats on the left....then write down your jedi points...go kill one animal and look at it again, subtract the original number from the new number and will give you an accurate total of how much xp you got for a kill....will vary from animal to animal so you need to keep a log...and will vary from levels also...but pretty much come to 1k for 78-79 cl levels and up to 1200 for 80 to 82...
