The cu brought many new BH to swg because the cu forced grouping and BH is a template that can solo more than others. It's why I made my alt a BH, not to hunt but for soloability and the loot was better per kill. The powers that be need to understand it's not that BH is such a popular profession it's just that its the best solo profession.

Forced grouping and lack of loot is the big draw fix both of those and you will see more diversity among players. many of the BH you see in cities don't hunt jedi either. In the BH forums they speak there quite often and don't aprove of forced pvp.

Also, reading up and seeing a comment on new bounty hunter loots, does anyone else find it ironic that Bounty Hunters are the ones peddling so many lightsaber tapes these days? Ummm, yeah... That's balance, alright... I'll have a shot of whatever the devs are drinkin'...

I use to be a BH, and you would see 2-3 BH at the terminals on Kadaara , usually the same names over and over (the Die-Hard BHers) but then something bad happened, they gave a lot of people the easy way of making master BH , yep, thats right , Respec.

im no jedi but seeing so many BH running around kills the game. i know most just hunt npcs for cash but dang seeing like 5 BHcome and go after 15 mins just for one jedi is sort of sad and sucks. i mean who wants to be hunted every 15 mins? i know for sure i dont want to be.

suggestionw for course of action...

1) cancel all but the BH account and kill jedi till they all leave and SOE buffs up jedi

2) cancel all but your jedi account, continue to hang out with the guildies in a safe house while dueling ungrouped to maximize vis for all the guilds jedi.... piss off BH till they cancel their accounts.

either way the aim is to take AWAY soe's money till they either can't afford to keep the game running and make a change based on players requests, OR can't afford to pay for licensing from Lucas Arts and then another more suitable game designer launches a licensed StarWars MMO

it doesn't work due to will power... there needs to be given some time, say 3 months of no profit. yes, one buisness quarter and i garauntee they will give into the power of the community

well your right about 1 thing if thy lose profit thy will close the game down. BUT i dont see tht happening seen SoE is adding stuff to keep ppl around longer like ToOW new story new items to loot more mosnters to kill and etc. i hear theres a another expansion coming around. even tho thy all have bugs andlag from hell. ppl will still buy it and play b/c thy likegame and b/c it has a 2 wordslabled on it "Star Wars".

You want to strike back at the bh, once you have completed your template, maimize your vis and go sit in your house. Then log on your another account and skill that toon, you will allow newer jedi to be able to grind without interference and bh can simply run all over the planet like door to door saleman, while you skill your other account without fear. Squad leader being so powerful will get fixed, and cm will eventually get fixed.

Right now it stinks to not be bale to play your jedi, but our end game is not even out yet the frs. Let the bh run around like camels, afk in your houses and let them quit. After all we spend the time to get to jedi not them. If soe does not like this idea, then make the fights fair. Make Master Bounty Hunter require 24 more skill points or give ours back. Either way i dont pay $15 so i can be content for some 2 day profession, they can go to my house and ring a door bell "NOBODYS HOME" But i wont give soe the satisafation of cancelling my account. I will continue to get vis, when i need to do a quest i go and do it, then afk in my house. for awhile this will have to do.
