Thread: Jedi should be a starting profession and this change was needed

Va'ain is right, there are no Jedi, no padawans, no knights, no masters in the new system. If you have that title now that's the only way you will have that title in the new system. The class is force sensitive, you will end up being a CL 90 Force Sensitive, not a jedi padawan, not a Jedi knight, not a Jedi master, but a force sensitive.
Wow! No new Jedi titles? Is it possible to earn a Jedi title such as Knight through a new FRS? I realize that's speculation andthe FRS may never even come back, but that does sound kinda cool and certainly fits with the time period.

There won't be a new FRS, it's done, over, kaput, finished. Think about it, FRS would just reintroduce the alpha class complex again and we'd be back into this mess again.
That being said, the elder title that Jedi do recieve is worth it. Trust me, you guys don't know what it is yet. Just to give you an idea, I'd give up all my Jedi titles for this one Elder title....
Whoa! Now that is interesting... I was thinking just plain old "Jedi Elder" under my name - you're saying it's something more interesting?.

I know its over. I never got a chance to be a Knight though. I always wanted that title... not guardian or master, but Jedi Knight. I wasted too much of my time hunting Jedi before I decided to become one myself. The Jedi being an "alpha class" always was the best and worst thing about this game. Jedi should be more powerful than a normal class. I thought the 1.5:1 ratio was about right. Making them equal is not the answer to "balancing" the system. The biggest problem came when the way to become a Jedi became public knowledge. Whoever originally found out the path and told the community... shame on you.
As far as the title, I'm now very anxious to see what it is, but I'm sad that I may never be able to become a Knight.
